... would you choose to the HoF, if you had to pick one?

Four of them are included already: Spinks, Holmes, Holyfield and Lewis. Who would you pick to join them?

My friend asked me this, and I thought it was a tricky one. I'll give my thoughts later

    Kevin McBride.

Oh you said Hall of Fame.

    Pinklon Thomas.

He's got a lot of names on his record and didn't lose to them all.

And when he fought Tyson, he did better than Berbick or Biggs or Bonecrusher who basically held on for dear life and didn't really try to win.

Coetzee. Bowe. Holyfield. Morrisson. Bionecrusher. Witherspoon. Berbick. Tillis. Boone. Weaver. Tyson himself obviously.

Not too many guys that fought Tyson, Bowe and Holy at THEIR best.

Just looking at it.......Thomas fought Tyson in 87, Holy in '88 and Bowe in 1990.

    That's tough going.

I don't think you can make a case for any of them

I agree probably nobody deserves it but if you HAD to pick one, who would it be? The point of the question is what you value the most between very equal choices

Buster Douglas Wasn't a Scrub, He was a Lazy, Inconsistent Yet Talented 2nd Generation Fighter...And He Kicked Mike Tyson's Ass in THE Biggest Upset in Boxing History/Arguably All of SPORTS!

Boxing's HOF is a Victim of Itself and Plenty of Guys were Inducted Off of 1 MAJOR Upset Win Over a TRULY Great Fighter...Like You Said, the MAGNITUDE of Douglas' Win is MORE Than Enough for HOF Induction...

I think the most deserving would probablybbe Norris, who had a rather long reign as the recognized #1 of the cruiserweight. But if anyone ever were to make it, it would be Buster, for the reasons you gave. The next after that would be Bruno based on popularity

Tony Tucker was like 48 and 1 when he faced Lewis. And he went the distance with him and Tyson. Although his resume was pretty weak. But he kayoed Douglas and beat McCall and probably would've beaten Thomas.

That's the question anyone who really knows the racket will ask an internet child: "Who did Mike Tyson ever beat?" No one.

Michael Gerard Tyson didn't face many hall of fame level fighters.

Bruno is the pick of we are going by fame. I suppose Buster is similar, but Bruno has a lot more longevity.

His fights usually lasted 3 minutes. It's how he stretched out his career :Jest:
