Power's the last thing to go. Look at Chris Byrd. Although he was much faster in his prime, he was able to hurt Tua, Holyfield, Golota and McCline with body shots when he was a bit older. I mean, he was on the verge of putting McCline on the canvas. Could you see the Byrd of 1996 doing that?

You can't possibly be that STUPID .... Don't you know that most MALES can both punch harder and lift more in their 30's ???
Male strength does not peak until the early 30's ...

Do you not know this . Please don't tell us you are this stupid ??
Maybe you are a Female ?

If so you better take a walk for awhile to save yourself further embarrasment.

That's true, I think CleanYourCawk might have the edge on Jore Luis Gonzalez, but his competition is suspect. :rollllling: :rollllling: :jester:

I don't know if 30s is actually the best age to deliver but a fact is that sports that are based or pure strength demand many years of hard exercise and guys in their 30s have had more time to develop than the younger ones and they have not lost much of their ability yet. It is not unusual to see 30+ sprinters for example.

Boxing is slightly different though because the effectiveness of punches depends on coordination, sharpness and timing at least as much as strength so it could be that a 20-year-old hits harder than the same guy at 35 but it can be either way really

Excellent point. Also overall loss of speed, could make a mid-30s puncher very ineffective in terms of power and accuracy.

Yeah but Robinson in his mid 30's was faster then Trinidad ever was.
So really just with that said , that throws your speed angle right out the window ..

You are a funny man . Sad but funny ...

So really , how old are you that your peers would give you strange looks for using the word owned ? Are you like 70 years old ?

I'm in the network industry ...

I'm not threatening you ... So at the tender age of 25 you are to old to use the word owned on a boxing forum ??
Sounds a bit strange. No-one is telling you to go tell your boss that you "owned" that Servers ass on that Lotus notes install ...

Well, you just confused a scalar with a square; no college student would do that.

More stalling and lies. Is this what you do when you don't have an argument, you just make things up? Anyone can search the thread and you won't find where I said a "scalar is a square". My friend just read my post and understood what I meant, but of course he "actually" has a degree in mathematics.

Stop stalling Rufio, those questions are waiting and won't go away. One day should've been more than enough time, but we both know why it's not enough time for you. High school dropouts usually don't touch this kind of subject material. :neener:

Keep copying post from wikipedia and posting them as your own, it won't help you here. You have to know what to search for to actually answer these questions. :2:

Here I'll post these questions in this thread too so you won't be able to stall in both threads.

    Question 1:
"If I was calculating movement over time of a random asteroid in the asteroid belt, what basic application of mathematics would I be using and why is this more appropriate given the circumstances?" Hint: Compared to measuring the same movement in a vacuum for instance.

    Question 2:
"If I was shooting an imaginary line (Hint: vector) towards a sphere, what basic mathematical formula(s) would I use to make sense of the line and sphere meeting in 3D space, and what would the possible result(s) mean from this basic formula(s)?" Note: For full credit you should explain every possible outcome.

This is a question that could be answered in about a minute by someone with a "degree in applied mathematics" and a minor in physics. You've had about 5-6 hours to think about it, that's awfully strange for someone who has a degree in Applied Math and a minor in physics. Unless you're lying Rufio, you wouldn't lie to me would you? :nixweiss: :neener:

General Relativity is what you would use for the first one instead of Universal Gravitation because of the possibility of massive objects in the vicinity. For the second one, you would express the vector in rectangular or spherical coordinates, using the center of the sphere as (0, 0, 0). From this, you would construct a system of equations for which there could be zero, one or two solutions, corresponding to the vector not touching the sphere, it touching the sphere once and it touching the sphere twice.

    Now it's my turn.

    Question 1.
    Factor the following expression:
    a^10 + a ^5 + 1.
    Question 2.
    Prove that
    cos(5x) = (cos(x))^5 - 10[(cos(x))^3][(sin(x))^2] + 5cos(x)(sin(x)^4),
    sin(5x) = (sin(x))^5 - 10[(sin(x))^3][(cos(x)^2] + 5sin(x)(cos(x)^4).

Thank you, that's all the proof I needed to know you're a fraud.

Over 2 days to answer and it's still wrong (partially correct on the 3 solutions part which was the easiest part to answer about the question), but the other parts of your solution are literally all over the place. I guess google and friends didn't help you this time. 0/10 on Question #1 (that answer was simply awful), and 2/10 on Question #2 (you didn't even mention that the system of equations would be parametric). This shows an utter lack of basic understanding for algebra and vector based mathematics. I'm actually surprised, I thought you would actually get #2, it was a "gimme". You really should consider going back to highschool, I showed these problems to a 10th grader taking Pre-Calculus and he was able to solve them in about 15 minutes while eating a ham sandwich.

People can PM me for the actual solutions if they wish. As for this thread, I'm done, Rufio has proven he is a fraud by opening his mouth, perhaps he should have kept it close. :jester:

What a waste of time, I'm out. Rufio = Exposed. B)

General Relativity is the only way accurately to calculate the movements of such a large body of mass, and a vector can easily be expressed in rectangular or spherical coordinates using i, j and k, symmetric or parametric equations. I answered the questions as a mathematician would answer them; not as someone with know knowledge of math past Calculus would. Either way, the questions were very poorly worded, and I can tell that you wrote them yourself instead of copying them from a textbook.

Now answer my questions. They're from a book I mentioned to another poster in a PM, from a competition given to 7th through 10th graders in a certain country.
