Ok now that Delahoya's career is pretty much over the question is who at the end of the day was the greater fighter? Tito or Delahoya?

De La Hoya was greater though I preferred watching Tito fight.............even when he was getting his ass kicked.

De la Hoya by a country mile. Tito was more exciting but his greatness I will always dispute. He would not beat any great fighter of any era prime for prime. Leonard, Hearns or Hagler woud send him back to Puerto Rico on a banana boat. If you like exciting, honorless, disgusting cheats, Tito is your man. I won't lie. Tito had a great style.

I think Tito was the epitome of what I thought a fighter should be like.

He was a somewhat robotic, killing machine. Just like a Terminator, and everyone loved those.

Dela Joto before 2004 was a great fighter. After he took a dive against Hopkins, I lost all respect for Dela Joto. Trinidad may have went south a bit too much, but taking a dive is something I just can't forgive.

Tito didn't even try against Wright. He got humilated and after four rounds he just wanted to not get stopped. It was not as disgraceful, but it was nearly so.

looks like 4 Puerto Rican/Mexicans have voted for Tito so far, because there are only two cases here.

The hardcore mexican, who hates DLH and loves Chavez/Vargas votes for Tito out of spite.

The Puerto Rican, who thinks Tito beat Oscar, votes for Tito out of nuthuggery

Tito was obviously shot by that time, mentally, and physically. The Tito of 1999-2001 was probably one of the Top 100 greatest fighters of all-time.

Dela Joto took a flat out dive against Hopkins. His fist pounding theatrics sicken me more than Rubio HIV's wrestling fetish.
