Who played the bad guy and who actually was one?

In other words who acted cocky and like a dick just to get people to tune in and who was actually truly a cocky dick.

 

Well I'm biased here as I absolutely do not like Floyd, but I don't think it's 100% an act with him. I'm sure there are times when he can be a decent human being, and be caring and giving when it's not benefiting him, and he's not doing it to get attention, but I have a hard time believing that everything we see of him is an act.

That HAS to bleed over into his everyday out and about activities. You can't just turn that on and off like that.

I DO think that he has crafted this image of the bad guy, and he's played it to the hilt. He has a plan and he's enacting it perfectly. That said, I don't think it's an act. At least not all of it.

 

Eubank was truly a Cocky dick as was Naseem Hamed.

Ali played it up a bit.

 

The description is more attuned to arrogance & being obnoxious than being a true bad guy, IMO. For instance, Aaron Pryor played a bad guy. Carlos Monzon was one.

 

What about Mayorga? He plays a bad guy to a tee but then kisses them after the fight ends and takes everything back.

 

That always irritated me about him with that De La Hoya fight. I mean, I admit I don't care for that trash talk that gets personal and goes over the line, but at least be a man and stand by it. .

That's also something that just drives me crazy about boxing where they'll talk all this shit about how they're gonna kill someone, they're gonna fuck someone up, and then after the fight they're hugging and kissing and shit.

Ya exactly and the worst part is a guy like Mayorga will say all this personal shit and then will kiss and apologize and all that and then talk shit again in his next fight and expect us to buy it

 

James Toney. I'm not sure there isn't a bigger dick/asshole in the sport. Even right now he's talking bad about somebody. I'd put money on that. The guy respects nobody and the only person who was able to kind of stand up to him and shut him up was Rahman.

 

After Mayweather, Chris was the first name to pop into my head. He absolutely LOVED playing the pantomime villian and was extremely good at it.
