With the most recent round of back-and-forth "No, it's your fault", "No, it's YOUR fault", I've come to realize that I will probably watch the fight when it happens, but I don't have much interest in any of the buildup because it's just gotten so annoying and childish. I can't remember the last time I got so disgusted with a fight not being made other than RJJ-Michalczewski. Even then, they were the top 2 guys in the division---not the top 2 guys in the sport. Wasn't the last time for the top 2 guys in the sport RJJ-Toney?

Pretty sick of it at this point. There's other, more compelling storylines to follow.

I'd as happily see them both retire and give us peace.

I was just talking about this yesterday to me buddy, No I don't care at all anymore. Even if they do sign up to fight I won't be THAT interested at all especially given Pac's last showing.

I'm not interested in discussing this until the bell for the first round rings.

Truth be told, I hope one or both loses his next fight.

Yeah, them both getting KTFO in their next fight would be more satisfying than the fight, by this point

I will care if the fight is signed, I don't care to talk about who's fault it is anymore though, it's a tiring argument and the truth is everyone involved is at fault one way or another.

Personnaly, I don't really care about the fight anymore. Pac-Bradley and Cotto-Floyd would interest me more personnnaly. With Pac recent showings, where he hasn't shown the killer instinct he used to have, the only way I can see him win is if it's an ugly fight like JMM III was where he wins a close fight to higher aggression while Floyd lands the better shots but is too inactive. More possible, I see Floyd winnin a pretty wide UD in a dull fight. Either scenario don'T appeal much to me

It's naive and unfair to blame Arum tbh. I would bet money the fight still wouldn't have happened if not for Arum, for the simple notion that neither really want the fight.

And regarding the thread, yeah I simply don't care anymore. I've also come to the conclusion that they're both bitches.

They should have just fucking fought, like they did in the Fab 4 era, instead of bitching and whining like girls.

This kind of crap is what makes me lose interest in boxing. How can we continue to be fans when the fights we want don't happen? It pisses me off.

I don't care about the drama surrounding it, more specifically the blame game of who is scared of the other.

But I still care about the fight itself. Who would win? How good would it be? Etc etc

if the fight is ever signed, the build up will be worse than the crap we've seen the last few years.

Seriously, what would be the point of 24/7?

How many times can we see Roger curse like a drunk, Floyd curse out his dad, reference another court case and boast about his money?

How many times can we see Pac in Congress in the Philippines, punching Bubouy and Freddie Roach stumbling around the ring holding pads for Manny? That angle will REALLY be played out after the 6 part Freddie Roach series starting in a week or two.

I'm sick of both of them.

Roy wasn't a top 2 guy when he fought Toney in Nov. 1994. While some may have rated him that highly, it certainly wasn't a consensus. In fact, Toney was the favorite for the fight by a little bit, as I remember. Toney wasn't at the top either, pretty sure Whitaker was generally regarded as #1.

The last time p4p 1 and 2 met was probably Whitaker vs Chavez in Sept 1993. DLH vs Tito makes honorable mention (I believe both would have been consensus top 5 p4p), but ever since Roy whipped Toney, he pretty much had a lock on p4p#1 when Whitaker noticeably slipped a little. And when it wasn't Roy at p4p #1, it was Floyd. Neither of these two guys came very close to fighting a p4p#2 challenger.
