Ridiculous. Only the rich can attend that fight.

Are you going to Vegas at least? I was about to book a flight to go down and catch the vibe at least but then I heard about MGM being sold out and controlling where it's shown etc. Screw that, I'm staying here and going to watch it at a sports bar near my house.

I'm staying too. If I was down there, I think I'd be frustrated about not being able to afford a ticket to watch live.

Worth a try... I remember ElTerrible getting in some german cards with this one. Also with our small german page at the time we even got great tickets to Ruiz-Valuev. Got to see Don King and Muhammad Ali... :elmo:

I see stubhub has closed circuit tickets listed at the zumanity theater, of which I got 8, for 900-1000 bucks each

Or you could just hire some big local guys to accompany you that appear as body guards. Have them tell security you're Canadian president Jean Poutine. They might worry the venue's reputation would suffer if they didn't allow entry to leader of the country of a neighbor. It would be a diplomatic nightmare!

RINGSIDE (ie., 1st Row) Seats Can Be Overrated, Unless You Enjoy the Likelihood of Getting Another Man's DNA All Over You...All Depends on How Big the Barricaded Area is...

Id say the best seats are the center sections on the lower levels above the floor. the short side, not on side the media is placed or across from them. at least at the MGM those are the prime seats to be in, in the first 10 rows, center ring.

You're also looking up and through the ropes. If I could walk around any arena before hand with the ability to point out a seat and pick one I doubt it would ever be directly ring side.

Agreed totally. I was ringside for Pascal/Hopkins II and I kinda regretted my seat purchase. Couldn't see all the action.

Neil is right about the best seats. I think that applies across the board.

For mgm the diagonal seats are usually alot cheaper Than the center seats. Sections 107 and 109 are also great because there is no camera or camera man in that corner of the ring

Agreed, it's a weird way to watch a fight, looking up, through the ropes, you can't even see what's going on properly.

Perhaps explains some judges' scorecards ;)

What IS a closed circuit ticket? I've heard the term many times, but have no idea what it is. Is it a ticket to simply watch the fight in a casino, or bar or whatever? On a bigger screen than you have at home? :dunno:
