Here's my six: cotto, mosley, pac-man, Mayweather(if he would enter), Bradley, Berto. What's your list?!:stir:
Cotto, PBF, Williams if he could still make 147, Mosley, Pacman if he wants to get in with the big boy and drop the silly catchweight demands, Wow, WW is so stacked that it's hard to get only 6 fighters as some very good will be left out ( and in most division it would be hard to get 6 decent fighters ) Berto, Clottey, Margarito or Cintron are all fighters I would like to see in it. I'd probably go with Clottey for my last choice as long as he doesn't face Cotto in the first round
Pacq = Abraham (not great analogy, but dominant guy moving up) Hatton = Taylor Cotto = Kessler Berto = Dirrell Margarito = Froch Nobody is like Ward that I can think of. Edit: I'm an idiot. Floyd = Ward. (although both Berto and Ward are more like Dirrell)
Cotto P. Williams Clottey Margarito Mosley Fraud Mayweather Undercard ww fight for one of these when it becomes a PPV: Berto-Cintron
Mayweather Pacquiao Mosley Cotto Paul Williams I hope we can agree those are the 5 best guys at the weight class. 6th would be someone like Andre Berto, who is better than Bradley or A retired Marg.
I don't see why people are including "drop 4 or 5 lbs" Pacquiao. If he's not gong to compaign as a welterweight then he shouldn't be given the benefit of calling himself one. The exclusion of Clottey is a slap in the face to him especially putting guys like Berto & Bradley over him.
Pacquiao fought at welterweight two fights ago, and is campaigning around that weight. AND he just happens to be the best fighter on earth. Clottey is an also-ran. He would be an all-time great if fights were 4 rounds long. Unfortunately they aren't...and he hasn't beaten anyone to warrant a high ranking.
True, but Clottey's still twice as good as Berto and Bradley. Other than a bullshit, DQ he's only lost to 2 of the top guys in the division. I realize he's a mental midget but I think it's too premature to start making him out to be the 2nd coming of Zab Judah.
I think Bradley is going to prove too small if and when he moves up to 147. He's short for the 140 pound division and isn't much of a puncher. I don't think he'd find much success at 147.
The Super Six supermiddleweight tourney is not the best 6 supermids. You guys aren't playing this right, dammit.
Well, not that you mention it, Bradley should belong in there. Afterall, Abraham is and it'll be his debut at 147.
It should be mentioned that Tim Bradley's got a sexy head and a ripped body. He's definitely one of your better looking fighters out there today.
