Who would you like to see pavlik face next?

Sorry for another Pavlik thread but answer the question.

Personally I'd like to see him fighting Spinks first. Because of styles it would be a very even match-up

Let him fight Abraham. Guaranteed barnburner and will be a unification fight.

I'd like to see unification fights too and Pavlik-Abraham might be a good one while it lasts though I can't see Abraham beating Pavlik with his jump-around-for-2.30-steal-the-round-in-30-secs tactics

I'd like to see Abraham, just for the sake of having a new name in the mix (on the stateside front). But I'm not holding my breath for that fight to happen.

Next year, St. Patricks Day will not be on March 17, in order to avoid religious conflict. It will instead take place on March 15, which is a Saturday. Bet the ranch that Pavlik-Duddy @ MSG is next on the agenda (and don't be surprised if it's PPV).

I do agree that it would be nice to see how he handles a different style. But thanks to Taylor's stink-'em out reign, I highly doubt Top Rank or Arum changes Pavlik's diet anytime soon.

 

Fuck that old man Winky! And DEFINITELY fuck Spinks! You've gotta be the ONLY one who wants to see Spinks involved with ANY fight. I have no interest in seeing Cory running for his life against Kelly.

I rather see him fight Abraham cause at least the Smurf is young, and in his prime, and is a banger.

I think it would be sad to see such a nice guy as Pavlik losing his title right away so he sholud stay away from Spinks. Spinks outboxed Taylor too and Jermain is more fluid boxer than Pavlik

 

:laughing: :laughing: :laughing: That'd be the day. Pavlik would stop Spinks eventually. It just might take a number of rounds cause Cory will be getting his Maurice Green on from the opening bell. But ultimately, Pavlik would catch him eventually and brutally KO him. Spinks isnt unhittable, and he has a long history of fading late.

 

Pavlik won't take one back step against Spinks.....Spinks didn't outbox nothing..he was throwing out a "stay away from me" jab..but it wasn't landing at all...

 

I want to see how SLOW ass Pavlik deals with a slippery guy like Cory Spinks. :crafty:

 

Slow Pavlik will keep his jab on Spinks face...for a few rounds..till that right hand find it's target. ONCE that happens...it's lightout for Jinx jr.

 

I have difficulty envisioning Pavlik landing even ONE right hand on Spinks all night. Perhaps very late in the fight, when spinks fades slightly and loses a bit of concentration.

Pavlik will definitely stop Spinks IF he manages to hit him hard...but that's a big IF given Spinks' style....
