It's fucking CLOSE. Both are as fake as shit - it's probably a draw. If anything Oscar's sucrine fakeness being more calculating and contrived may qualify him as the biggest phony. But man-child Floyd's little show is just so much more offensive that I voted for him. Plus you get the feeling Oscar is capable of being genuine at a human level SOMETIMES. Little man-child Floyd is so lost in the smoke and mirrors of his alter ego that he'd probably have to undertake several years of psychoanalysis before we saw anything approaching a real human being again.

Not at all, in fact it's more Floyd's general personality and demeamor that I find fake, and Oscar just fake all over, it's almost like he has a remote controlled smile, that can just be switched on and off ::

But Floyd, one minute he tries to be plastic gangster badboy #1, which is not ONE bit convincing, he just comes off as a little prat.

And the next minute he tries to come off as a misunderstood, nice guy charmer, which is just as unconvincing and transparent as the bad boy act.

He doesn't do either well at all, and I have no clue what floyd's real character is, that's how fake he is ::

I think they are both fake as hell.

The difference is that DLH has always been smarter about his image. HE has always put the good boy clean image out there.

while Floyd has tried to put the bad boy image out there.

Delahoya knew Public Relations from the beginning of his carreer and has worked for him.

Floyd flip flops too much. He tries to be a bad boy and then you see him crying after a fight and thanking everyone around.

With Floyd is just seems that he doesn't know how to put on a show like Delahoya does. Lately the villain role has worked for him but it's still not beliaveable.

So they are both fake but Delahoya is just better at what he does. :dunno:

 

Yep, I agree with pretty much everything you wrote.

He tried to be a bad boy, but it's so fucking CLEARLY an act, and he doesn't seem "bad" at all. A great fighter yes, but not a bad boy.

That's the thing about Floyd, you don't really know who he is, because he is seemingly never himself.
