...if he had "fought" ODH, instead of pecking his way to a decision?

These people defend PBF's right to peck his way to a decision. But then they're offended when it's pointed out he would've been knocked out if he hadn't? It doesn't make sense. Unless. Unless. Ah. Forget it.

    I'm not offended.

There's always "what ifs?". What if DLH didn't tire and run from Trinidad? What if Hopkins took more chances against Taylor? What if Larry Merchant wasn't a grouchy drunk? What if Castillo didn't try to cheat at the weigh-in?

I think all the "what if" threads in response are people having fun with you since you're repetitive with your threads (PBF bashing, Calslappy bashing, HBO bashing, I hate 10 oz gloves and HBO especially when it deals with PBF or Slappy) and we figured you'd have to find some way to criticize Mayweather, whether it be "he really lost to Oscar" or "he ran".

Who said he should? On the contrary, I'm attempting to explain why it is he did not.

You can't assume that Floyd would have been KOed when he's never been officially dropped (apart from when he touched his glove down because he hurt his hand)...let alone stopped before.

Floyd has never shown a weak chin and Oscar doesn't KO everyone who slugs it out with him (Shane Mosley for example).

Floyd didn't slug it out with Baldomir either...because he didn't have to....but do you think Carlos would have KO'd him if he had?

so you're saying he did what he did not in order to ensure victory, but because he wanted to?

Doub quit trolling and looking for new arguments.

It's obvious he's just saying that it's unknown whether or not Oscar would've have stopped Mayweather if they brawled more, that it's not a given.
