I mean really. He was the only seriously impressive boxer in the olympics, he'd almost certainly make an excellent pro, unless his chin is glass. Why has he not turned pro? He must have had some good offers, surely. Are the Ukrainian mafia controlling him?
Good question... he was certainly the most impressive boxer of that class. He endeared himself to me when he won the Gold by first round stoppage over a frenchman. Doesn't get much better than that.
what about the russian he upset in the first round of the tourney? he's the same guy that lomachenko lost to in the world championship finals. has that guy turned pro yet?
All these russian amateurs are bums. Remember Abdulaev? The guy, whose dick Kauki sucked even more than Zoo's and Margarito's? Lomancheko would get the same treatment in the profi, as Abdula got.
poor comparison. abdulaev was a grown man beating up little kids in the olympics and had hundreds of ammy fights prior to turning pro. lomancheko is only 22 or so.
i just looked it up. lomachenko is only 21 and recently won the world championships at featherweight that was held in italy. albert selimov, the russian who he beat in the opening round of summer olympics also fought in the tourney at lighweight and won the bronze.
I sucked that coconut dry and drank the seeds Dympeople, I could have had an alien bust out of my chest as a result of this, but unfortunately for me it never went as planned. I agree though in essence,.. why Lomachenko doesn't turn professional is because he doesn't want to make the division the worst it's ever been.
