    Whyte signs Fury fight contract

Right, that's one new year expectation resolved.

Now, Usyk must fight somebody too.

    Joshua rematch I suspect.

I remain sure that Whyte is a LIVE DOG.

Should be a good fight. Whyte is definitely a live underdog and I think Fury knows this. We'll see how much Fury has left from the last battle with Wilder.

Whyte is a bum. Truly, the guy sucks. I have no idea why he's so hyped. He made AJ looks like the 70s Foreman.

Fury can only LOSE this fight. Whyte can't win it. If Fury takes him just as seriously as he did Wilder, then it's an easy fight, cause again, Whyte blows.

Whyte has a far better resume than Wilder.

    He isn't a bum.

Whyte would get utterly destroyed by the Ortiz from the first Wilder fight. He's basura.

Ortiz is the one who's a bum

    He wouldn't even beat Rivas

Why is it Whyte is either ridiculously overrated or ridiculously underrated?

    The guy is just meh.

Nothing special, but not a bum.

He's just a meh contender. He's better than a James Smith or something.

I have no dog in the fight. I don't like any of these guys.

Wilder at his best would have wasted Whyte, and pretty quickly.

Fury would have to train on McDonald's, whiskey, and coke to lose this.

Fortunately for Whyte, Fury may in fact train on McDonald's, whiskey, and coke.

Wilder might have wasted Whyte. Same way Foreman wasted Norton and Frazier.

This is a totally different fight.

I would definitely favour Wilder over Whyte, but let's have it right. It took Wilder nine fucking rounds to take out Eric Molina. And he was badly wobbled multiple points in his career by people who didn't hit half as hard as Whyte.

Whyte has a chance to either knock Wilder out, or get sent to the fucking abyss.

I think Fury is going to take Whyte out. Whyte has some tools and can be quite cute with that left hook, but he's got stamina issues. He'll be game for a bit but Fury will take over and get the job done.

Depends on which version of Fury shows up. Whyte is live here but I predict gets a mid to late rounds stoppage.

I remain steadfast in my belief that Whyte has a good chance not on account of his talent per se but his power and mentality. He absolutely will give this a major major go in an atypical fashion.

Fury will of course give him at least one opportunity by acting the dickhead and acting the fool to the audience.

The only way Fury gives Whyte a chance in this fight is by being an idiot. If he fights how he did in his last fight, Whyte has a very good chance IMO. The plan to beat Fury was clear in the last round, but it was performed by somebody who'd never able to sustain it. Wilder didn't have the stamina, strength, jab or body work to actually use that game plan, whereas Whyte does. Fury leaning all over him is just allowing Whyte to set up his left hook, and putting Whyte in a position to work the body.

That said, Fury didn't switch to orthodox once in the whole open training session, so I think he might go the Chisora II route and completely bypass Whyte's only threatening weapon and tip-tap his way to a victory.

At 270lbs, those taps hurt. If fury is clever, Whyte is out of gas and options by the 8th round. But if Fury acts dumb, Whyte can absolutely hurt him.

Whyte can definitely win. It wasn't Wilder's overrated power that had Fury in trouble it was Fury's chin. If it's a slug fest Whyte can land.

It was a combo of Wilders power, Furys chin and Fury's reckless abandonment

Whyte is a totally different sort of puncher to Wilder.

He's much more in the slugger phonebooth style.

He'll stand up better to the mauling come-forward style Fury adopted in the 2nd and 3rd fights.

I'd allude to the Cunningham/McDonald/ Firtha fights a lot more than Wilder as a gauge for how Fury could be in trouble if he proceeds stupidly.

Whyte is stronger and a bit better than Firtha. He's also totally keyed up. The Joshua fight was ages ago. If Fury thinks he can Povetkin this guy, he's wrong.

Whyte does a really good catch-and-shoot with the left hook. Fury better not float any lazy shots out there and if does he better make sure he's swayed back out of range.

Fury is definitely overrated at this momemt. All because of how badly overrated Wilder was all along. Also I'm tired of him saying he will retire. Just do it and don't talk about it.
