Can small ass Frazier put enough hurt on the palatial brown bomber before getting caught with a game changer?
I like Frazier. The key to beating Wilder is to back him up. Ortiz and Fury had success when they were able to do that. Frazier also is a great body puncher who sets a crazy pace and that would affect Wilder who often gives away rounds by simply not throwing enough. I think Frazier wins via late TKO
What I'll say is that Wilder has a better chance at beating Frazier than he would at beating Ali, Tyson, Foreman, Lewis, Liston, Holy, ect... But no, I still think Joe wins. The Frazier that crushed Ellis and beat Ali was unlike anything Wilder has faced.
Wilder has no chance. He will be punching down which depletes power. Wilder really never learned to fight so Joe tears him up inside. Fight would be a gradual beat down with Wilder sinking to the canvas in round 9 for the count. 6-2 in rounds at the time.
A part of me thinks wilder is too big, another part thinks that if the polish bum (forgot his name) could trouble wilder with is bobbing and weaving, frazier would run him out of the ring
I pick Wilder. Frazier usually needed several rounds to cut his opponents down with his body work whereas Wilder wouldn't necessarily need many chances. Thus the chances are on Wilder's side
Wilder can’t fight. All he has is a right hand and that’s not enough to beat a fighter like Joe. Any weight difference is inconsequential. The height difference would work in Frazier’s favor as he fought low. Frazier would push around Wilder like he was a rag doll.
Again, if Wilder were as bad as he looks and if traditional technique was the only correct one, he wouldn't be successful even today. Olympics are filled with 'better boxers' than him
Remind me of when Wilder has faced even a SEMI-competent pressure fighter? The verdict is in on Wilder: His power is completely ineffective if you force him back. And if you come after him, his instinct is to go back. He's not beating one of the best pressure fighters that ever lived, when he struggles to handle even BASIC pressure.
This type of rhetorical questions don't mean anything. Name the times Frazier simply marched through punches that were remotely close to Wilder's power and name the times Wilder got chopped down by a 200 lbs midget
Wilder’s height would be rendered useless because he doesn’t have a jab nor does he have the footwork and positional awareness to control distance. He also carries his hands quite low. Size be damned. Frazier is not losing to this guy. He’d beat AJ as well.

Gotta Looooooove How 6'9, 273lb Tyson Fury Backing Wilder Up Via Feints and 1-2's AUTOMATICALLY Translates to 5'11, 210ish Joe Frazier (Who was NEVER Really a Feinter Nor Much a 1-2 Guy) Replicating It... It Wasn't JUST Fury's Acumen That Beat Wilder, it was That + the Fact Fury is BIGGER Than Wilder... What Fury Did to Wilder Has NOfukingBEARING on What a Perpetually Aggressive, 10-11 Inches SHORTER, 60lbs LIGHTER Man Would/Could Do vs. Wilder... REED
Frazier wouldn’t beat him the same way Fury did, that’s for sure. I think Frazier’s pressure, frenetic work rate, and body work would do the trick, though. Wilder would have a tricky time getting off an accurate right hand due to the bobbing and weaving and because he’s not particularly adept at throwing short uppercuts and hooks inside, I think he’d struggle badly. Mid to late rounds stoppage is about right because I don’t think Wilder’s chin is all that great. He’s looked vulnerable against guys who weren’t known as big time hitters. Frazier can crack.
Joe Frazier is criminally disrespected if this inept bum is favored over him. Wilder has a puncher's chance, but in no way should he be the favorite. The guy cant fight a lick.
A guy that can't fight can win a fight, however. When did Frazier ever beat anyone by jabbing and moving? What about skillful countering? Name Frazier's best showcases of the right cross? Basic boxing skills and strategies which Joe knew nothing about. Now is it plausible to say Frazier couldn't fight, since he never did this? Of course not, since he won his bouts in other ways. You know how to continue from here
I'm not even gonna go there with you, because you're being ridiculous to defend Wilder. Joe Frazier, lack of right hand aside, was an extremely well schooled offensive fighter. Wilder is not. He has no skill to speak of.. just an immense right hand. Dont pretend like you dont understand the difference. Frazier is picked against in matchups with every single goddamn puncher in history due to the Foreman fight, but Wilder plain and simple is not Foreman. Outside of Foreman, the only other guys who could have duplicated blitzing Frazier early are Tyson, Lewis, and MAYBE Liston. A single punch never KO'd Joe, and Wilder's right hand would have a hard enough time scoring on Joe to begin with. Frazier ducks under, leaps in with the hook and Wilder gets caught with it cause he ALWAYS pulls straight back with his chin in the air like the mindless retard he is.
