Then prepared to be shocked no later than two rounds in. I'm picking Floyd myself (and by late stoppage), but I fully expect Ricky to be even or close to it midway through the fight, before Floyd takes over for good.
 If Baldomir can win 4 rounds (None against Vernon Forrest) If Judah can win 5 rounds (and a knockdown) If old part time, stiff legged, staminaless De La Hoya can win arguably 5 - 7 rounds  If Jose Luis Castillo can win 14 of 24 rounds Then why the fuck cant Hatton win just one round?..:::laughing: This is why Fraud is by far and away the most desperately and deliberately overrated, overhyped, mindlessly celebrated fighter in the sport, as times do appear to be a little tough for American boxing, if Fraud wins it will be via another stinking, running, close, contraversial split/majority decision only, because he is not, and has never been in a league of his own, Roy Jones was for a while, that was high rollin' times, but Fraud clearly isn't.
Yes I think he'll win some rounds, esp early. But after Floyd survives his early rush, and begins to find his rythm, I think its gonna get harder and harder for Ricky to cope with the speed factor. Floyd is gonna have a pull counter target practice on Hatton.
Hatton can only hump a stationary target. Floyd will be pot shotting him from the outside, then moving away before Ricky can dry fuck him.
Another dumb thread....of course he will win a round...although I warm to Floyd watching the 24/7 Ricky is going to KO him bad.
im predicting 119-109 for floyd or astoppage by hattons corner ________ Lamborghini Cala Specifications
I hope the following three things don't happen: 1 - Mayweather's brittle hands snap/crack early and we have a crap encounter. 2 - Mayweather dies in the ring as a result of Hatton's relentless ferocity and murderous punching. 3 - Mayweather wins cos that's just bad for boxing.
you know.. this fight is not really even making me anxious like most big fights do.. to me, it's an easy fight for Floyd
Floyd won't find any rhythm against Hatton. It's gonna be endless pressure, clinching, roughing up, elbows, punching on breaks, body shots, head shots, the whole thing......
Floyd is scared! He's even more scared by the fact that Hatton is laughing at him even when Floyd tries to act dead serious. Floyd is dead!
:: nonsense. Hatton is a likeable kid (to me) but is just out of his league as much as people like to say DLH was "washed UP" .. DLH is a much bigger and better "boxer" than Hatton and Floyd controlled him and whupped him DLH hits harder than Hatton and prolly takes a better shot.. Floyd was never hurt but DLH was.. Also.. Hattons awesome body punching will not help him here.. Floyd is the type that when you go to his body.. you'll get hit in the face, his counters are awesome and he's gonna cut up and stop your boy Hanzy
But you also fail to remember that DLH did not throw even 1 decent bodyshot in the entire 12 rounds against Floyd. All he did, with his old ass legs, was follow Floyd around and headhunt, throwing 1 punch at a time. To use DLH as a gauge for Hatton's chances is a very bad idea. Watch how many bodyshots Hatton is gonna smash into Floyd's abdomen, ribcage and down below.:crafty: Watch him clinch and come up with sneaky overhands, uppercuts, and more bodyshots. It's a completely different style altogether and it's coming from a kid in his 20s with endless stamina. Not some 35 year old inactive shot 'superstar.' Hatton is hungry, DLH wasn't.
Yup. Floyd could win, sure, of course, but he won't win because he "beat Oscar". Boxing is one of the few disciplines on the face of the earth where a relatively unskilled fighter can destroy a far more skilled opponent thanks to that opponents lack of current training, fitness, desire, or the advanced years of said opponent. There is no such thing as "kind of", " a little bit" or "somewhat" in this game. Take one day off, and it will show on fight night.
I was not comparing styles at all brother Hanzy.. I was stating that DLH even on his as you saY "old ass legs" is a much harder puncher than Hatton, a much bigger guy and techincally a better boxer. as for Hatton's body punching.. it will only open him up for Floyd's coutners to the head. FLoyd is very good at protecting his head AND body and when Hatton goes downstairs Floyd will hit him in the big ass british nose
Gatti-Hatton is a pretty good comparison, as they both have energy, kinda brawlers... not too good of skills... Gatti is much bigger and stronger, Hatton more energy and pressure maybe... The fight will prolly be similar to the gatti fight
