Should be a good fight here. At least Bradley has the balls to fight Junior.

Bradley's Gonna B the QUICKEST Guy Witter has Faced Since Zab, So It'll Take Witter a Few Rounds to Find his Way...But he'll Get N 2 a Groove & Either STOP Bradley After 8 TACTICAL Rounds or CRUISE to a Unanimous Decision...

REED WANTS Tim Bradley to Win, but this is a HUGE Jump Up N Class for Him...

There's the OUTSIDE Chance that Witter is Looking PAST Bradley, Continuing to LUST Over Ricky Hatton, but Bradley ISN'T a Puncher...At Best he ROCKS or DROPS an UNFOCUSED Witter, but REED Can't See him KO'ing Witter...

    Witter KO 8 or UD...

 ... some things (and predictions) never change.

IMO, it depends on how Bradley elects to fight. If he stands his ground, he gets got somehwere in the middle rounds. If he discovers early that he's in over his head, then he Forbes his way to a lopsided decision loss.

I'll go with the latter. Witter forces the issue, looking to make a statement early, but eventually settles for what's given to him.

    Witter UD.

Great to see my hero getting his due on the board. Many people picking him. Also great to see that the yanks will be getting a chance to see Junior in action against one of their own. When Junior spectacularly KOs Bradley, I wonder what excuse Hatton will have next??

This is a huge fight for Junior Witter.

After all the bluster and bad mouthing, Witter finally has a chance. A chance to wipe from the collective US memory that awful night when he ran from the most mentally fragile fighter of this generation. More importantly, perhaps, a chance to show 6 million British viewers, on prime-time, terrestrial TV, that he is right, and that Hatton really is running from him. For all of his supporters protestations, this will likely be the first time most casual UK fight fans will have actually seen Witter in the ring.

In light of all of that, this could easily be the biggest fight of Witter's career. And Junior will know this, and should be preparing to fight accordingly.

In order for the night to be a real success for Junior, he needs to win and win impressively. He COULD fight his way to a comfortable decision if he get's Timothy's measure quickly, but I suspect he'll go looking for the stoppage he needs to force attention back to Hatton.

Bradley is talented and quick, and will make Witter work hard early doors. But Junior should be able to get his measure as the rounds progress and Bradley starts to tire, allowing Junior to open up in the mid to late rounds on his way to a stoppage around the tenth, followed by the usual, grizzly tirade against Ricky, but this time broadcast live round the world and in a proper context.

    Witter TKO 10

It's too bad that Bradley isn't better known in the us.
I have him on 7 fights, but one is an am fight and 3 were shown on fox sports espanol which means only hardcore fans have seen them.
That leaves 3 shobox fights which isn't horrible, but they've been against pretty weak opponents.
    .
I suppose Witter's best hope is that the millions of boxing fans that are sick of Attraction's trolling for Witter tune in to see him get his ass kicked, but instead see Witter impressively win.

Junior Witter is the best kept secret in boxing.

If he keeps his focus,....he takes this guy apart inside of eight rounds.

    "Facts and figures

ITV's return to live boxing was Khan v Kindelan which peaked at 6.3 million viewers, with the whole show averaging 4.5 million.

Khan's ratings since then have varied from around 2.5 million (peak) on ITV1 to a peak of 6.7 million for his fight against Graham Earl. The figures often vary depending on how long he is in the ring for.

ITV's biggest audience since returning to boxing was for the Audley Harrison v Danny Williams fight on 10th December 2005, which peaked at 8 million with the entire show averaging 6 million.

If the fight does any less than 5 million I'll be amazed.

You have to understand that, in the UK, ITV1 would expect an audience share of at least 10% (5-6 million) for the time-slot of this fight even if they scheduled 'Paint Drying- an Art for for the Ages'. It is Saturday peak-time on the UK's most watched commercial, terrestrial (i.e Free-to-Air) TV channel.

    Stop being such a defeatist...:nono:

What is your point? I never said all british HEAVWEIGHT fights wouldn't do great numbers, nor did I say that Olympic medalists with huge hype would not do big numbers. I said Junior Witter, would not do those kinds of numbers. If you think they will, by all means...pray for it.

    Witter ain't a fucking blip.

If ITV show a fight, regardless of the fight the numbers are always big.

This ain't Kindelan v Khan or Williams v Harrison. This is Witter vs some guy nobody knows. That makes two guys nobody knows, on ITV.

    Who...?

Williams and Harrison two guys that continue to embarrass themselves - but people still watch as its prime time and free!

BTW I'm no fan of Witter and hope he gets KO'ed just to take the piss out of Attraction.

If Witter wins, I'd like to see a Kotelnik rematch for unification, and if he wins again, (and thats a big IF), more than ever will Witter be able to EXPOSE Hatton as being terrified of him. If this scenario happens, I think Hatton will be as flustered and as panicked as Fraud was about fighting Margarito.

I agree. Pretty big difference between 2 MASSIVELY hyped olympic "stars" and fucking witter

It should still do well enough though, because boxing's return to terrestrial is somewhat of a novelty here, but it won't do as well as those fights.
