Last week's Vs announcing crew (Huerta card) had some pony-tailed guy, some bland white guy, and Bernard Hopkins and it was probably the most-painful crew to listen to for two hours I can remember. Especially since the pain didn't come from favoritism, but just all out blandness with some crap from Hopkins thrown it to further the annoyance. Peace.
The pony tailed guy is Dougie Fisher. He looked like he wanted to blow off Shane in the interview he done with him.
Fisher and the other guy were sort of harmless. Very bland, but not saying stupid shit, just not saying anything worth knowing. Hopkins was horrible. Maybe Fisher and the other guy would be better with a different co-announcers, but together the threesome had me cringing.
The crew from Mundine ppv's, lead by Barry Michael, is the worst I've heard and the worst I'll probably ever hear, I'm pretty confident about that,.. though as mentioned above,.. who the fuck could honestly listen to anything Hopkins has to say???..... the only difference between him and Fraud Mayweather is that he's more reserved towards anything that could compromise his goals, he's secretive by nature, even when he has his outburst of narcassistic rage, in America there's no ramifications,..I just wonder what could Hopkins say when there's chronic fouls being comitted?... who does he score the fight for when one fighter runs and the other has to chase?...What does he say when there's a black fighter against a white fighter?... He's an exposed piece of fucking trash, but he flourishes, because America is built for the sociopathic, by the sociopathic...ld:
I remember watching a show years ago that had Harold Lederman doing color. Words can't describe how terrible it was. TFK
All I know is that Saturday's Bradley-Campbell fight illustrated once again that Jim Gray is the worst person in all of sports with a microphone. He doesnt know boxing, he has absolutely ZERO control over the situation when he's on the camera and he commands NO respect from the fighters. His interviews often spiral into incoherent chaos and it ends up being a total waste of the viewer's time.
