Nunn losing to Toney. The overall early performance was excellent notwithstanding Toneys weakened state. But the last minutes were awful and rightfully defined his overall performance. He didnt just lose. He dudnt just throw it away. He didnt just fall to pieces. He didnt just flop around. He did ALL OF IT. And it was Toneys tank that was empty. It was worse than Wlad vs Purritty which was a simple case of a green fighter punching himself out vs a known survivor. That's also up there. Nunn had it all. He didn't need to go out that way and ironically if he'd never fought Toney at home, he probably wins.

John John Molina beat the dog shit outta Tony Lopez in their rematch in front of thousands of obnoxious Sacramento fans. Beautiful to watch.

Cristian Mijares' retirement fight. It had a festival type of atmosphere in his hometown. They brought in Vazquez Jr as the sacrificial lamb for his final fight. Vazquez Jr. landed a haymaker that crushed Mijares' nose and slumped him in a corner. Shaking his head "no" as the referee began the count. A sad ending to a great career.
I think the rematch for Jorrin-Larios was also in Sactown. Jorrin got stretched in the first round in his hometown after winning the first fight.
Fury effort Vs John McDermott was his worst ever. Fury was shouting at his corner to "get the water on me" and was basically overheating under the lights as McDonnell put it on him. McDermott was competent and compact and could crack a bit but when you look at Fury performance in subsequent fights including the rematch, it's clearly his worst effort by far. He's come closer to being knocked out but in terms of 10 consistent rounds of bad boxing, that was his worst effort, and it was in England.
Didn't Steve Cruz lose his title in his hometown in his first defence? Might be confusing it with a different loss before the McGuigan fight.
