Sad to see Roy done like that. I never like him, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a great fighter. His style was very unique, and I think he's a good person. To go out like that, by being destroyed, when he could have gone out on top is sad. I think it's over now and we'll should never ever hear the name Roy Jones Jr as a current fighter.

As far as the Hopkins fight, I still think Roy would have beat him. Styles make fights. I also maintain Tito would have kicked his ass in his prime. :slap:

Adios Roy. But Reed on suicide watch. Kenneth too hahahahhaha

it never gets tired kid, watching Roy on his rear. I don't know if I can't stand the dude or just his followers. I think it's his followers because I actually appreciate him as a fighter.

Oh yeah, Cupey. Tito would have had a much better chance when Roy was younger, faster, more athletic, better stamina, and took a punch better.

If only Hopkins hadn't fought Tito in 2001...it would have been great to see Roy vs Tito back then.

Then Roy could have fought Tito at MSG, and cupey could have been watching from the cheap seats with a pair of binoculars as Roy gave the Puerto Rican Pepto Bismol market a stimulus cheque.

sad thing its that it's not even fun anymore to see him knocked out. I wish the dude would start training people and enjoy his status. But now he'll be remembered as a guy who stuck around to long, or at least they'll always mention it when the speak his name. I guess it happens to all of the greats, they don't know when to quit.

If that were the case, Tito should have beaten Roy when they fought because power is usually the last thing to go on a fighter.

Nah, Tito didn't have the footwork to cut off the ring against the bigger Roy and make him engage. Roy used to have excellent maneuverability. Once his overall speed and athleticism declined, his flaws became more evident.

ok so the fight was 8 hours ago but not televised in the US so that means there is no need for a **SPOILER*** Disclaimer?
