But not in the interest in matching the two best in a division, or for sheer entertainment purposes, but for match-ups you simply find fascinating style clashes.

That's one which is really entertainment based.

Ortiz vs Chavez. The style clash is amazingly compelling.

Happy Lora vs Lionel Rose: I would say Jofre is my favorite bantamweight, but these guys would be after him. Both absolutely wonderful technicians. Rose was better and would have won, but itd be a beautiful, high-speed chessmatch.

That's not a matchup for action, but its a hard-on for purists.

I think this would be a horrible watch, even though they're two unbelievable technicians.

Maybe something like Sumbu Kalambay vs Joey Giardello. Both were beautiful technicians.

    Terry Norris vs Cotto

Not only a great action fight on paper, it's also a very interesting style matchup imo

Norris would beat the living Hell outta Cotto.

Terry Norris just went from overrated to underrated in one day.

Miggy got his ass kicked all over the ring by fuckin Austin Trout. He's gotten waaayyyyy too much mileage off of giving a good account of himself against Floyd, when the truth is Floyd was giving him a beating by time the final bell sounded.

    Norris would fuck Cotto up.

Cotto did far too well vs Canelo and Mayweather to be out-classed by Norris.

Norris was all over the gaff against Troy Waters...

I think Norris presents a worse style matchup for Cotto than Floyd or Canelo.

And I would take prime Norris to beat Floyd at 154. Obviously, that doesn't mean Terry was the better fighter, but I think he was too big for Floyd.

Oh don't get me wrong, i think norris gives him a good hiding, but norris probably runs into a counter a few times during the fight, which would make it interesting

    Vitali vs Wlad.

    Kovacs vs Hamed

    Hatton vs Witter.

these are fights I just have to KNOW how they played out.

In neither case did the failure to make these fights make any difference to the legacy of each fighter.

    Nor should it.

I need to KNOW if Witter could have ever outslicked Hatton or made him look as bad as he said he would have.

    Does Vitali really boss Wlad?

Does Kovacs get into a groove vs Hamed and have him swiping and missing like I believed he could and like Barrera did?

HAmed, by that stage, was no longer a serious boxer. He was in decline.

I could see it and people were calling it especially after the Ingle fight.

Maybe he was- he wasn't really BAD- but I just want to see a few rounds play out so I know. My suspicion is that Hamed looks like shit until he lands something.

cotto beat mosley. and performed better than mosley did against pbf and canelo. he also beat margarito, clottey and judah plus a whole slew of solid guys at 140 like abdullaev, corley and bailey. laughable to call him a loser.

I thought Clottey had the win within his grasp but didn't do enough. Close fight though.
