Boots, Bud, Spence, Prograis, Shakur, and Fimo are the only 6 current fighters I'm a fan of. Fimo is losing me. Not because he lost, but because he lost like a sore, delusional pussy.

Not sure how much longer I can stay on Team Lopez.

    I don't really understand how someone can't be a fan of Crawford's.

His lack of comp would be the only turnoff.

He's highly exciting as a fighter, and he's always come across as a down to Earth, dedicated family man outside the ring.

    Not too many favorites today.

    Bud, Spence, Stevenson, Boots.

And if Castaño beats the hell outta Charlo, he’ll make my list.

Sad to say, it’s been a long time since I’ve truly been impressed by a Puerto Rican fighter. The island just doesn’t seem to churn out talent the way it used to.

Correction, Caraballo I thought had potential I saw he had no chin…

I used to know so many PR fighters at any given time, Wilfredo Vasquez, Tito, WIlfredo Rivera, the little fella Ricky Burns fought-Roman Martinez- Juanma Lopez, Fres Oquendo, John Molina, Camacho's, Cotto.... Now all I can think of is that big oaf Berlanga

I really hope Nick Ball comes good..violently explosive performance at the weekend, zero respect given to his limited opponent. Dude didn't stop hitting him even when his back was turned.

A lot of little guys plod around, oving their hands "oh he was too tall " etc but Ball really loads up and fires away like a miniature Tyson..

5'2" , 126lbs..... He's an inch smaller than Hamed but rather than boil down he's absolutely maxed his frame out at the weight and really go for it

Richie Woodhall making a twat of himself...

I wish Xander Zayas would become good but as of yet I don’t see championship material in him.

Probably Brandon Figueroa, because I saw him spar a lot and fight when he first turned pro and his father is a very good guy.
Errol Spence because his trainer is a good guy and somebody that I have talked to numerous times for lengthy stretches.
Jose Charles because a good friend trains him.

USA- Tank, Jermell Charlo, Crawford, Benevidez, Ortiz

    Mexico- Canelo, Munguia, Estrada(El Gallo)

    UK- Taylor, Fury

Puerto Rico- Zayas just seems like a nice embassador for PR boxing but not sure how good he could be. Hope he gets better.

Yeah it’s too soon to tell with Zayas. He looks decent (though green) and by all accounts, is a nice kid with a good work ethic.

But he’s not the eye catching talent that Trinidad and Cotto were.

Matias is clearly the best Puerto Rican in the world IMO.

Thats an indictment on the current state of PR boxing, because Matias is merely a "good" fighter.

Death penalty off the table. Stuck in Puerto Rico’s federal prison. Can’t afford a lawyer so the state provided him with one. His family have all moved away from the island and he receives no visits. NOT ONE member of his family has come to see him, it’s being said.

    Still awaits trial.

I remember the first time I saw Trinidad I thought he was a Cuban fighter because he was wearing all white trunks ala Casamayor and Lara. By the time Trinidad was Zayas' age he was already showing signs of future greatness.
