Who's to say Pavlik hasn't been a drinker all along? It's convenient for his father to blame on his success, and even imply that it's due in part to the tradgedies he's witnessed volunteering, but we know that's bull-shit. My guess is Pavlik's been getting drunk all along. Maybe he's gotten worse. Maybe he's getting old to the point it is affecting him more. But my guess is there's no such thing as the pre-alcohol boxer, Pavlik.
More than likely. It's possible that once he got "big" and had more money and stardom he stopped working as hard and simply partied a lot more. However I don't buy that he drank no more or less than the average joe, won a title and then turned into an alcoholic. It's not like he became a champ in his teens.
The 1st Time Ayala was EVER Tested was Against the NOTORIOUS QUITTER, Yori Boy Campas...Nonetheless, it was Ayala that TAPPED OUT 1st...Say what U Will about Pavlik, but he's NEVER Shown Any Quit OR Frontrunning Qualities, Even in his Losses... GREAT Action Fight Early, but @ Some Point Pavlik will FIRMLY Assert Himself & the PSUEDO Tough Ayala will Look for an Easy Way Out... REED:kidcool:
