Two matchups I'm looking forward to this weekend. Fury's first big test so will be interesting to see how he fairs against Parker. Hughie could well pull off the upset here if he sticks to his boxing and uses his head. Parker certainly isn't the best of the titlists. Could be too early for young Luke Campbell against Linares. He's rated highly in the boxing community in the UK so a lot of people are backing him to cause a big upset. What do you guys think?
Two good bouts and if people complained less, they would realize that boxing is in pretty good shape since fights like this are regular. I pick Linares with confidence and I agree Fury has a good shot, both should be entertaining scraps
fury moves very well, but he seems waek and fragile. got the feeling he'll get caught and stopped eventually
Good-paced action in the hw bout for the first two rounds but little landed by either. Fury's movement is fluid and he makes it difficult for Parker to time his rushes but Fury has no punch. My hunch is that Parker will catch him eventually
If Hughie had his cousin's jab, he would walk it. As it is, the rounds are difficult to score but Fury looks bit discouraged despite the British commentators
Parker still can't get close. Fury has intelligent footwork and long reach even though otherwise he isn't very good
I didn't keep a scorecard but IMO Parker deserves it as Hughie was very negative in the end. Plenty of close rounds in a ho-hum bout
114-114 once, 118-110 twice for Parker. Unlike similar scorecard lately, that wasn't as off-base even though the difference was surprisingly wide. Parker came forward and landed the meaningful shots. Parker vs Wilder has the fun potential
Tyson and Hughie always had brilliant natural movement, for big men or otherwise. Probably a blend of natural athleticism and boxing, literally, since infancy. I think Campbell has a shot as Linares has been in a lot of hard fights.
YOu're a very brave men to have watched this bout in it's entirety. Turned it off after the 8th round
