You would need to use a real version of the machine gun that Tommy held in that Ring cover to get Floyd and Manny in the ring with a young Tommy.
I'm almost at the stage where I don't care now. But my point was that this poll is really just a popularity poll. Anyway, unless Pac returns to how he looked pre-Mosley in his next fight, I'm pretty sure that PBF would have little trouble with him. Even if he did, I'd still pick PBF to win, it's just that I honestly don't think that (at least prior to the Marquez fight) PBF was as confident. Now may be a different story.
Hearns may beat Mayweather at 147...but only because of his height and reach advantages due to his natural size advantage. Make no mistake...Mayweather is a significantly better fighter in a P4P sense.
"may" :: And even though P4P is kinda convenient when comparing fighters...there's no real evidence to back up your claim of Mayweather being better.
There would be some feet dragging at lower weights until the smoke cleared after the Leonard-Hearns fight and then when Hearns moved up and Leonard suffered his eye injury and there were vacant titles available...then the move would probably be made. But even then I don't know that either one becomes the major player due to Donald Curry's presence in the division.
it was directed at people who think Hagler/Pacquaio and Hearns/Mayweather are nap and tuck type affairs Did you see the guy who said Hearns "MAY" beat Mayweather?

So once you strip down past the promoters, managers, sit-ups assistants and everyone else, and you hear from the fighters themselves: Pacquiao Instructs Team To Negotiate Mayweather Fight: http://www.boxingscene.com/pacquiao-holds-press-conference-targets-mayweather-jr--46365 Mayweather's Response: http://www.boxingscene.com/mayweather-im-side-ill-make-pacquiao-offer--46363 So for those who said Arum is a problem - I don't disagree. But whose problem, exactly?
Floyd's, as per usual. If not for the PED accusations, it'll be one hurdle after another. It has been obvious since day one really that Floyd doesn't want the fight. He should do now though, he'd be CRAZY not to fight Manny now after Mosley and Marquez, he looks more beatable than ever.
No, he looked far more beatable in this than the second Marquez fight. He actually looked OK in that fight, Marquez just fought really well against him and arguably one.
Fighthype is always up Floyd's ass, but here's what Alex Ariza has to say about Bob Arum. http://fighthype.com/pages/content11249.html
Pacquiao Holds Press Conference, Targets Mayweather Jr. By Chris LaBate WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao held a press conference in his hometown of General Santos City, Philippines and advised the local press that his team is going to negotiate a possible super-fight with WBC champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who is scheduled to return on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao believes the fight has a good chance of coming off, based on his last performance against Juan Manuel Marquez, which took place on November 12th in Las Vegas, Pacquiao, who usually dominates the competition, struggled at certain points with the counter-punching style of Marquez and won a close twelve round majority decision. "Negotiations are ongoing for my fight with Mayweather, but nothing is final. Mayweather may be thinking, I can fight Pacquiao now because he had trouble against Marquez, and I was able to beat up Marquez. This is what boxing fans are waiting for," Pacquiao was quoted as saying by ABS-CBN News.
Mayweather: I'm The A-Side, I'll Make Pacquiao The Offer By Michael Marley WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. offers no joy for fight fans who still desperately want to see the undefeated boxer cross gloves with Pinoy Idol Manny Pacquiao, the WBO welterweight king. During a recent interview, a direct question was asked by writer Kevin Davis of boxingsocialist.com, as to what Mayweather would do if Pacquiao pushed his promoter, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, to initiate the negotiations process. The answer, as seen below, is a non-answer with Mayweather heaping praise on Top Rank execs Todd and Dena DuBoef, and waxing enthusiastically about how Mayweather Promotions can work with Top Rank when the near 80-year-old Arum is off the scene. "First off, I can't wait until Todd Duboef is running the company, He and Dena Duboef are truly great people, professional. I can't wait until he takes over just so we can have dinner and talk about working together. Those rumors in the past about money being offered to me, not true, How can you offer me a deal when I'm the A-side? We make the offers," Mayweather said. "We tell you what were going to give you, and you can take it or you don't have to. We're the A-side. If Floyd Mayweather tell you he's going to make 50 million, he's probably going to make 70 million, after a fight there is no telling on how much I really make. Am I going to be the highest paid athlete at the end of the year, most likely."
agREED... Has a "Strength & Conditioning" Guy EVER had More of a VOICE than Ariza???...If Pacquiao is On PED's, it's Probably BECAUSE of Ariza...Hell, Ariza Put the "PED's" in "PEDquiao"...Yet Now his Comments are Being Solicited, in Terms of what FIGHTS Manny Will or Will Not Take???... REED:shit:
Ariza doesn't know shit about boxing but tell me one thing he said in that interview that you don't agree with.
