Avengers 2 siblings new characters

Joss Whedon has been quoted as being currently working on the Avengers 2 screenplay which will showcase 'a brother & sister storyline' which immediately had the fanboys (like me) jumping to the conclusion that he is most likely referring to original Avengers siblings Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver. This will be very cool if Whedon could somehow maintain their comicbook costumes...which I don't think will happen.

we will see Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver looking somewhat similar to this:

 

This model looks a lot like Christina Hendricks from Mad Men...maybe is her?

 

That will be okay only if Scarlet Witch wears the same outfit as the girl in your signature pic.

Bad news...sort of.

Bryan Singer announced that Quicksilver will be used in X-Men: Days of Future Past probably ruining Marvel/Disney The Avengers 2 plans of using the same character (20th Century Fox owns the rights to all X-Men characters and both Scarlett Witch & Quicksilver had their origins at the X-Men comicbooks since they are the children of Magneto before they became Avengers). Also Joss Whedon announced he wants actress Saoirse Ronan (The Host, Hannah, The Lovely Bones) as Scarlett Witch. So forget about a Scarlett Witch that looks remotely like the sexy siren in the pictures above...unless he means the OTHER Saoirse Ronan, the lingere model!

I must have missed the part about the bad news. What was it?

 

That Quicksilver will most likely be not used in The Avengers 2. If that happens then the storyline for Wanda Maximoff will be screwed big time because she and her twin brother Pietro grew up together as mutants and are too close to be separated by rival studios. Either put them together or don't use them at all I say.

Also that an anorexic looking actress will play Scarlett Witch. That is like giving the role of Wonder Woman to Mary Kate Olsen.

If that isn't bad news for fanboys I don't know what else can be...unless Saoirse Ronan starts eating three meals a day plus snacks from now on.

 

Oh now I see. I think the bad news is the decision to use Scarlet Witch at all. Even if they did put Quicksilver in it I think they're both two kind of lame characters. Still it could be worse, they could decide to add Giantman/Antman.

 

Antman is scheduled to introduced in his own movie first and then later be added to the Avengers team later.
