Neighbors Seth Rogen newest comedy hit is as predictable and formulaic as his past ones: crude humor, pot smoking, sex scenes, yelling, partying, not-so-funny jokes, etc. From the get go you know what will be the outcome of the antagonism between fraternity boy Zac Efron and new parents Rogen and wife(played brilliantly by Rose Byrne). Efron is effective here and you grow to despise his character's antics, but not the character himself. Still the movie is watchable and Byrne steals every scene she is in. Worth watching once if there isn't anything better available. 6/10
Me and the girlfriend tried watching this but I wasn't getting much out of it and could tell she wanted to quit so I asked her and she confirmed. We turned it off right after the frat party historical breakdown which was around 15-20 minutes in. Just for the record I pretty much can't stand everything about Seth Rogan. His face, his humor and most of all his voice which is the main reason I accurately guessed that I wouldn't like Ted. Score: Incomplete
