In two more seasons Game of Thrones will wrap for good which will leave HBO & fans begging for more. Solution? A prequel series! George RR Martin has wrote so much lore and back history of each of the Westeros families that will be enough material for a prequel. I'll love to watch the whole Rhaegar Targaryen/Lyanna Stark drama unfold with the subsequent Robert's Rebellion. And for Lyanna Stark I would like to see a different actress than the one they showed dying. In the books she is portrayed as very beautiful. The one dying while pretty doesn't look above average to be honest. So if they could hire Cuban/Spaniard actress Ana de Armas (Knock knock) she could be the perfect Lyanna.
I was just thinking the same thing. Great idea. I would love to see the war of the trident and Rhegar and Aerys and all that shit. I'm sure they'll do it . Lots more money to be made from This mythology
As long as they don't hire George Lucas to write and direct. He'd change all the history and shit and suddenly Ned Stark will be Tywin Lannisters son and stuff...
I really want, at one point before your or he dies, for George Lucas to literally fuck you in the ass and leave you crying in a moose stable.
I have heard about those plans too, but it will be the further adventures of whoever survives the Westeros Apocalypse. But HBO can do a GOT Expanded Cinematic Universe! A movie about each character! Then get them all together ala the Avengers!!! ::
Im not a huge lucas fan, but i think he deserves to rape you after everything you have said about him. It's only fair.
Well, the other George, you know, RR Martin, is also getting a lot of hate for not finishing the books. Since the series has catch up with the books, the GOT book nerds are ultra pissed that they no longer 'know' more than the average HBO viewer. This is unacceptable! How dare that old fart mess up by letting HBO continue the plot WITHOUT THE BOOKS??? Some fear Martin might die before finishing the story, but others just wants him to die already for holding for so long what they love so much.
