    I got some SPOILERS:

    Nothing big but apparently Michael Fassbender is going to play two different androids, one named David and one named Walter. I also read that Ridley Scott plans on going back to the horror elements of the first Alien film while keeping the big scope and scale from Prometheus so expect Covenant to be a bit of a horror film. Fassbender also gave Scott some huge praise saying: "Ridley has cut it already. He is a machine. He is an incredible human being and he was in such good form. He is such an imaginative and mischievous figure."

    Ridley Scott and whatever shit-house screenplay has been cooked up this time could actually save the whole franchise by making a decent movie...unlike the abomination that was Procuntheus...

    I was wondering the same thing. I wasn't expecting a straight Alien film, but this is what it looks like now. I hope Scott can keep some kind of continuity and pull a 'Rogue One' by bridging 'Prometheus' to 'Alien'. Having Fassbender alone doesn't do it for me.

    It will be tough because clearly they are back on that planet from Prometheus, but that is not where David and Noomi Rapace were headed. They were suppose to go to the Engineer's Home planet for some answers. Im guessing that on the way to that home planet, they were intercepted by The Covenant who were suppose to be Rescue Nostromo, who went to the planet because of the Prometheus stress signal.

    In the trailer they mention that they are Earth's first colonization crew and that planet doesn't look like the one from 'Prometheus" unless David & the Engineer farmed it at ridiculous speed. I just hope is LV-426.
