    Do u agree with the consensus that Adamek was wt-drained for the Dawson fight? I figure he couldn't beat Dawson anyways cos Dawson just has his number, stylewise.

    That's Adamek's problem, weight drained means you're not in shape.
    Boxing needs to go back to same day weigh ins.

    It's tough to say. Adamek fought brilliant last night, but as noted earlier, Pineda is no Dawson, and is really no Briggs for that matter.

    But...

    Making the jump from 175 to 200 is a big one, and Adamek looked fairly filled out in this fight. So perhaps there were some weight issues in the past.

    But...

    I'd still pick Chad without hesitation over Adamek. I just honestly believe that Chad is that good.

    I think Adamek is overrated. Briggs is a converted MMA fighter, for all intents and purposes, and he gave Tomaz all hell. I don't see Chad as the future of 175, certainly I think he's vulnerable, for all his flash, a guy be beat up for 7 rounds still found him with a peach of a right hand, problem is Adamek can't really hit all that hard.

    Of course, 175 is kind of shallow, so Dawson might just go on a run yet.
