Doesnt Joshua have to fight Parker at the end of the year?

Parker has a punchers chance I reckon.

Fuck all. He's already proven he's the best in the world. This is just a chance to cement his legacy.

Joshua v Parker would go a long way towards showing what Joshua is really about. Parker has a lot of obvious flaws but he is confident, hits hard and will come to fight and think he can win. He's the best fighter AJ will have faced thus far and by a fair bit.

It seems a big mistake to have Parker fight Joshua at this point when Parker has never seen US tv and Joshua has seen it once.

I think Parker is his mandatory. Might be wrong, though, and I cannot see Hearn and his cronies giving up AJ's bauble.

    Parker is his mandatory.

Big issue for Parker is he'll be outreached by a long margin - and doesn't use head movement much.

Obviously he'll have to get inside Joshua to land his own, and that's where things will probably go pear-shaped for him as he gets picked off.

The Thing about Parker is he INVESTS in his Punches, Has 2 Fisted Power, Decent Handspeed, and When he HITS Motherfuckers, SHIT Typically Happens...

Because of his OWN Desire to Put Some Hurt on his Foe, Joshua Often Sacrifices Height, Reach and Range...Would Be TANTALIZING to See what Happens If/When Parker Catches Joshua FLUSH, But There's a High Probability Parker WON'T Get that Chance, as You've Alluded To...

Joshua takes chances but he's smart about it too. He won't or the mistakes he made against Whyte. He'll patiently did the range and place shots.

Parker won't last beyond the mid rounds I think.

    Yeah agree with all that.

I think Parker might have a slight handspeed advantage which may help - but I suspect he'll end up bullrushing in and get beat up in the transition.

Still, this is boxing, one punch and all that.

AgREED, he can definitely fight. I'd like to see Whyte-Haye soon. I reckon Dillian will walk through Chisora at this stage.

Looking back on it, I noticed as well that Joshua WAS going to the body early on, he just abandoned it though. I reckon he could have taken Breazeale out earlier if he'd stuck with it. Joshua also has an annoying habit of leaving his right hand out there after he's thrown it from range, hopefully he cuts that out.

David Haye against Ortiz. Now that's a mouth watering fight. I'm loving the heavyweight division right now. Enjoy it while it lasts guys because the division could degenerate into a bunch of fat boring tossers again soon.
