He has the "power" per se and he won't have any problems moving his hands, and he may even have Klitschko doooooon in an awkward "hurt and then knocked over" sort of thing, but there are a few differences between Klitschko and Stiverne, loike.
Pretty sure I said Wlad's next three should be Fury, Wilder and somebody else...actually there is nobody else.
Wilder has erratic power, and likes to swing with it. Klitschko feeds off guys who come into the fight with a "Game-Plan". Wilder won't have a game plan. What he'll have is fast hands, a "fuck-it" mentality and a lot of power. What Klitschko will have is more height, length, handspeed and footspeed than Bermane Stiverne could ever dream of having. Upon watching the fight again, I was reminded of Manny Stewards commentary during the Arreola vs Vitali fight where he said that Arreola was generating "huge excitement" but wasn't really doing any major damage at the same time. I still say we haven't seen Wilder fully tested. Stiverne would get some work done, then let Wilder off the hook so he could recuperate.
Yeah, Unless Dude GROWS another 4-5 Inches in Height AND about 5-10 in Reach, REED Doesn't know what Stiverne Could Do Differently... REED
Because i think he is better than what he showed. He is an amazing counter puncher and instead chose to walk down a bigger guy. I believe him when he said he was off. Because, he looked off.
Stiverne couldn't play counter puncher against the tall and rangy wilder. Why do you think pbf never faces anyone taller than him?
Stivernes problem is his footwork and footspeed, not his size or reach. David Tua would have done better out there.
It's his size and reach coupled with his style. The interaction of those two was indeed his problem. He's a counter puncher who found himself in a tactical mismatch. I guess you could put it differently and say, "his problem was he wasn't good at fighting in a different style than he usually does...the one he would've needed to overcome his physical disadvantages."
