    from the past 10 years i only recall True Grit and 3 10 to Yuma being good...i should rewatch them soon

    Unforgiven is very overrated for me. I don’t think it’s even as good a Pale Rider let alone Josey Wales, high plains drifter or the 3 spaghetti westerns

    Yes.
    I don't know why I'm not into 'Unforgiven' but on first viewing I just didn't like it.
    Maybe it didn' have the 'romance' of Westerns from the 50s-70s...Too 'gritty', Idk?

    Agreed. The Bill Muny character was weak. I kept wondering why Hackman was the villain.
