It looks like these shenanigans from troublemakers may be coming to an end here in General Discussion, and that is a great thing for all of us who want to talk real boxing without interference and nonsense from weirdos here.

I'd like to put together a video very soon as I indicated in another thread with two of the guest analysts being Reggie Johnson and Termite Watkins who are both ministers now, so it may be a possibility now that the forum is being monitored.

Kids that are their boxing students may also be coming aboard to watch the video so the thread is going to have to be monitored and kept clean as minors can't be exposed to some of the stuff that is posted here, and I know the owners will understand.

We all need to do the right thing and do our parts to further the best sport there is, and that is what I'm looking to do here.

A substantial amount of the proceeds generated from my fight are going to go directly into boxing gyms in the Houston area for new equipment for the kids and to offset travel expenses on the road for tournaments, and I think this is the perfect place to begin to build on that by giving back and everyone here can contribute to boxing.

    Thanks

    Yes, via webcast Rainmaker.

I just made some significant strides yesterday in that area and the price is going to be very reasonable as well.

Every boxer on the card is going to be an amateur champion and there are going to be no novices, and all of the fights will be of high caliber.

Many of the kids on the cards are better than a lot of professionals and they will be coming from all parts of the state and even out of state to compete.

He's a good-sized fella from what I understand, but I'll take him down.

I may be receiving a batch of free tickets available for the fight on Friday the 11th at the Thomas and Mack if anyone is going to be in Vegas for the big Marquez - Bradley fight.

    Will know more tomorrow.

I'm definitely buying this Houston card. Looking forward to watching Karl score a KO as he's a devastating puncher.

i wouldnt want to jeopardize your big ppv extravaganza, if i managed to avoid death and land a lucky shot that nicked your eye or something, but still, you can catch a fade off tropicana if youre in town

Yeah man this place will be cool with Karl cruising around having beat down some chump. But if he ends up unconcious with a face like an exploded watermelon, that'll be cool too.

It's OK either way around, bro.

The difference between me and most guys here is that I'll actually throw down.

The important thing is that folks buy the event.

    I appreciate it.

Karl, may I suggest tanking it enough in order to elevate the confidence of some fellow fightbeaters so they get brave enough to get into the ring with you?

I'm not interested in that kind of stuff anymore.

This is a one and done deal, most likely.

How many guys do you know are getting punched in their 50's?

On here, most posters are not getting punched in their 20's or 30's, even.

:bears: I'll try to get it too, I want to see what kind of skills Karl has.

If Adonis and Kovalev get it on in Montreal lets watch it together steve!

Gatti was a good and tough pug, but he should not be in the IBHOF.

I think he can pull it off neil, he seems to have dropped a lot of weight.

Yeah I've never been steve, I'm looking for an excuse to go.

Gatti's on the HOF because of the excitement and drama he brought not his skills or accomplishments. His fights are pretty legendary.

Gatti's in the HOF because he should be. If you don't think he should be, it's because you think of the F in HOF meaning something other than Fame.
