The controversy is because brook fought like a bitch and did nothing but hold.

Did Brook not land the cleaner, more effective shots, throughout?

Brook won clearly, no disputing that, he landed the more solid shots. It was close though, and he looked average.

Porter had no case of winning. That's not a close fight. If Porter had won it'd be the biggest robbery of 2014.

So basically, a fight can only be close if it could go either way?

I honestly didn't see it that way. I had NO DOUBT Brook won it as soon as the final bell sounded. Porter initiates the majority of the holding and wrestling. Brook was the one getting in with those hard counter rights. 8-4 was my card.

Garcia-Peterson is an example of a controversial fight. This, not quite.

Fair enough, what I'm saying is the general consensus is it was a pretty close fight, it's blatantly false to say "There was nothing close about it".

I never said it was controversial, at all, there is such thing as a fight being "Close but clear" and I think that's the case here. It was pretty fucking far from a domination or one sided fight.

Personally I don't think there's a case for Porter winning, but that doesn't mean the fight wasn't close and competitive.

I also thought both guys were pretty unimpressive, that's why I'm so surprised about your high opinion of Brook puerto. That's literally his best win, yet you always seem to pick him to dominate or beat people easily.

Yeah, I don't understand what's so complicated about the point MWS is making.

Close fights can have clear winners. Mosley/Oscar I is a good example.

Yeah, Brook won but it was a close fight and he could've been penalized a dozen times for holding

Brook held Porter throughout the fight. What I just said is a fact.

What I'm going to say next is an opinion. Brook could've and should've been deducted several points for his holding. And I think if he had, he would've been forced to stop holding and as a result he would've lost the fight.

Porter initiated a lot of the holding and wrestling.

    I assume you're talking about Brook-Vargas.

My guess is Eddie Hearn is doing some shady shit and lying about it on youtube. That's been his MO so far.

Brook has the IBF belt and his mandatory is Spence Jr. But if he beats Vargas he wins the WBO belt. Watch this guy ditch the IBF belt to avoid Spence...
