based on what I've seen, I'm inclined to agree... If Rios were a bit more polished as a puncher, he'd be able to get to Camacho to start the chickenshit business, but I think he's too crude for that
The talent pool is so much LESS today than it was in the 80's, that I'd definitely favor prime Camacho over anyone from 130-140 right now. His toughest matchup would be Bradley. He'd beat ALexander, Con, and Maidana rather easily.
Rios applies the kind of pressure, and gets close enough, "before" he punches, and switches up his timing well enough, and throws creative combinations, and has a good chin, and good stamina, such that he'd get to Camacho consistently enough to win a decision.
i still say camacho is over rated on this forum. the way rios looked on saturday i doubt he could beat hector lopez. at 140lbs a more comfortable rios wouldnt be outclassed by camacho.
