    Just saw the fight, Porter obviously has good power and the result was impressive, but he is sloppy as all hell. Look how fucking wide those hooks were, JAYSUS

    His legs buckled, but it was really only for a few seconds. Gained his composure back pretty much immediately after.

    I hate the fact I'm sticking up for a guy I don't really rate and who I can't stand for his reluctance to step up, but having just seen the Porter fight, the Brook fight is by no means a lock.

    But Porter does have a good jab and doubles it up well and good lead left hook. I think the intensity he would bring would be too much for Brook. Brook's really been used to fighting at his own pace too. i'm not entirely counting out Brook, but I favour Porter considerably.

    Yup. Agreed. I don't think Brook could handle the pace. And he has good power, but it's nothing special. With Thurman it'd be different, because Thurman has fight ending power, could handle a higher pace, and Thurman's a better counter puncher than Brook as well.

    Porter will eat Brook alive.

    He punches so wide though man, Brook seems to be pretty accurate down the middle at least, it's not set in stone for me. Although I'll concede the Carson Jones fight is obviously a worry from the opposite perspective.

    I'm not trying to say it's a mismatch. While Brook doesn't have Trinidad power, he sure as HELL hits harder than Paulie. But, Porter has to be made a very clear favorite. And fighting in the form he's had in last 2 fights vs what I've always seen of Brook, I think the most likely outcome is Porter by late stoppage.

    Broner wouldn't be able to keep him off. And while AB seems to have a decent chin, I don't see him holding up to Matthyssee.

    Porter vs. Provodnikov would be a fun fight. And it COULD happen, since neither of them work for Top Rank or Golden Boy.
