Ok I"m back. I met up with Sly. He's a pretty cool guy actually and Buddy you lost he's 5'8 3/4. I have a picture to prove it.

 

I gotta say rereading the first part of the thread I'm very impressed the way Anthony handled it. Not solely because he took my side and got me back but because he unbiasly and objectively saw that my banning was wrong and talked some sense into buddy. It's good to see that people with some common sense and maturity are running this place. And you Buddy yes I called you fat but I also call the sky blue and I don't get banned for that so I don't see a problem! Plus you can't just go around banning people that make a joke or two at your expense because in the end your world will end up like that film cast away with you banning the volleyball for looking at you wrong right before the end credits roll.

 

I actually thought you were Hanzy. Hence the emails. How was I to know you were some other banned loser entirely? My mistake.

 

Buddy is OK. He asked me back here when the place was stagnating and needed some verve and swagger put back into it. Then when steve_dave went overboard and tried to kill me, Buddy mediated henceforth/forthwith without any difficulty. BOSS needs to stop being personal {me and steve_dave can do it because we both know neither really minds it} and Buddy needs to stop apologizing. If I thought somebody was Hanz I'd probably ban their ass too. Spamming is unacceptable. Tongue-in-Cheek ethnic criticism, far-out politics or the odd slap to the face is OK. Of course, if you start fucking with people's virtual lives, like hacking their ebay or their facebook, thats not cool, but it still should not be a long ban. I don't always get on with Reed or steve_dave but that is online only. I genuinely feel if I met these people I would be able to get along with them just fine. Nobody here really needs to banned forever.

 

Buddy is ok. He is just humorless. He doesn't have a sense of humor at all. He is the kid in grade school that takes the role of hall monitor seriously. Joke around with him at your own peril. He is a decent fellow though.He is the type of person who is just there, good, solid and wee bit dull in personality.Compared to most of you he is a saint.

Btw Sly surely you must realize how illogical you sound here. Just before you were saying that if you are sure of your thing then you will collect the easy 5000 dollars. If you have a son, of course you would bet 5000 about it with some reliable guy here if you could prove it as easily as your height, you'd have no reason to turn it down.

Here, with the same trip when you are going to collect your 500, you could have gotten a free 5000 with same effort so accepting the bet wouldn't give you any extra trouble. Thus, the reason why you won't take that bet is very obvious

 

Agreed. He is probably five foot 5. I preferred to refer to him as shrimpstaff.(which is immature and not all that funny albeit accurate) rather than the more horse based insults. Truth be told, Sly is not an abnormal looking person, even if he is very short. He should be mocked for his very low I.Q. coupled with an unwarranted arrogance. I have never seen a subject in which he understands even basic elements.I rarely used the horse insults. One it is childish to insult someone for their looks and two one shouldn't lead with a secondary insult. He should be mocked for his probably statistically close to retarded intelligence and his loudmouth arrogance, an arrogance not grounded in any rational basis.

Now that I read Sly's most recent posts in the General Discussion forum, I take back my remark about him being classy.::

 

One would think so. This was 5 months ago. Apparently it's going to be decided in the first week of August.

Years ago, it was 5ft10, then in this thread alone he went from 5ft9 1/2, and now he's down to 5ft9. I wonder what he'll be down to in another 3 and a half weeks. He probably won't show.
