It's Safe to ASSume Crawford's Not CHINNY...He's NOT Amir Khan... agREED it's PREMATURE to Label his Chin "Great", However...If he Squares Off w/Most of the 140lb Names Listed in this Thread & Comes Out on Top, Crawford's Chin will Have THEN Been Tested Enough to DEFINITIVELY Have its Quality Measured... Not Now Though... REED:mj:
Crawford's Been Fighting @ '35 Since he was 17... http://www.boxingscene.com/crawford-ive-135-17-time-move-up--84821 REED:wtf1:
Id favor crawford solidly over Provodnikov or Danny Garcia and give him an excellent shot vs Matthysse as well in a pick'em. the guy is good.
After Matty Ice going life and death with John Molina, I would have to pick Crawford over him without hesitation
Yeah, if Provo struggled with the "skills" of bum ass Algeri, it's safe to say Crawford would bamboozle him.
Agreed on Broner. AB would have no shot in Hell at beating Crawford. Broner might last the distance, but Crawford wold give him a beating, especially in the late rounds.
I like Crawford a lot but I'm not certain how he fares as he goes up in weight. I'm not convinced he has the power to keep guys his size who can punch off him and he gets hit flush a bit too much for my liking. He's very much like Donaire with the exception he's a much better boxer. He has dog in him which I love. You hit him, he's coming right back at you. Chad Dawson was like that early in his career. The plus side is Crawford wants to challenge himself and will fight anybody...boxing politricks will hold him back.
Chad Dawson always showed a dodgy chin though. Crawford's chin might not be Hagler-like, but it's solid. MUCH better than Dawson's. And Crawford will never be a devastating puncher, but he cracks sharply enough to hurt guys as they come in, which is all he needs.
I enjoy watching Crawford fight. He's got skills and he's got sense. I think a match with pretty much any of those chaps would be worth seeing, especially a more aggressive type of dude like Matthyyyssse ... perfect style match for an entertaining bout
Considering he's Been Fighting @ the Weight Since 17, There's a Very Good Chance Crawford's Power AND Punch Resistance Improves, Moving Up... If NATHAN Else, He Should Be Stronger... REED
Agreed. He wouldn't as inclined to trade with Matthysse as he would Beltran. Matthysse, and Garcia are Crawford's only two threats at 140. I'd pick him over Peterson, and Provo with little hesitation. And I'd pick him over Broner with NO hesitation.
If Provo had any idea what to do after he hurts dudes, I'd consider him a much more dangerous foe, but the guy goes full retard when he hurts someone (which he does in every fight he's in)
Lucas is SHORTER than Beltran Too...Despite his Style, Beltran has More of a RANGY Body type than Mattttthhhhhyyyysse Does... Maintaining DISTANCE from Lucas May Be "Easier" than it was vs Beltran... REED
Yeah, Provo sure aint Tyson or Ray Leonard as a finisher. He'd have stoppage victories over Bradley, and Alshitty if he could finish.
yup... It's like he just starts wildly missing when he has a guy a punch away from oblivion... you'd think the dude was betting against himself
