Good fight, I think GGG will win comfortably though after Jacobs has a little bit of success early on.

Just reminded me it's a damn shame we never got to see Pirog-Golovkin.

I'd be pretty shocked if Jacobs lasts more than 5 rounds. The guy has a joke of a chin. Honest to God, this could be over within 2.

even if we chalk up his loss to pirog on some fluke shit and say he has grown since then, the dude was on the deck vs playdough fisted mora more recently

I think nowadays the narrative is spun in Jacobs favor, and the media acts like he was in control of that fight then got caught. When in reality, Pirog dominated him, outboxed him, THEN laid him out flat.

jacobs looks physically stronger since the pirog fight, but his chin is still very suspect. he is quick and can punch so if he is able to hurt golovkin maybe he can bomb him out early before his own chin gets cracked. I still give him a better chance at winning via that unlikely scenario than i give alvarez of beating golovkin.

Nah, I don't buy that. I think Canelo's got a much better chance of upsetting Golov than Jacobs has.

Having said that, I'd give Jacobs an excellent chance at beating Canelo.

If GGG "Allows" Jacobs to Touch him Up, as Some have Insinuated has Been the Case in Previous Golovkin Fights, Shit Will Get VERY Interesting...

He won't. He's not stupid. He didn't care about eating shots from feather fisted Willie Monroe, but he's not gonna stand there and wait to eat shots from a puncher as dangerous as Jacobs.

I don't think GGG's gonna fuck around with Jacobs. He's gonna look to take him out early, and given Danny's joke of a chin, he probably will.

Derevanchenko is a nice offensive techncian and I know you're high on him. I definitely don't see him on the same talent level as Golov.... and he's nowhere near as powerful.
