Unfortunately , I couldn't find such a systematic review of scorecard for Thurman Porter, but the few I have found simply doesn't support the FB myth that Brook beat Porter more easily than Thurman

    Premier Boxing Champions: 115-113 Thurman
    Bad Left Hook: 114-114
    CBS Sports (1): 116-112 Thurman
    CBS Sports (2): 116-112 Thurman
    CBS Sports (3): 115-113 Thurman
    International Business Times: 115-114 Thurman
    Sherdog (1): 115-113 Thurman
    Sherdog (2): 115-114 Thurman
    Sherdog (3): 114-114
    DailyMail: 115-113 Thurman
    WorldBoxingNews: 116-112 Thurman
    SkySports: 116-114 Thurman
    Shane Mosley: 116-112 Porter
    Deontay Wilder: 114-114
    Paulie Malignaggi: 115-113/116-112 Thurman
    Mikey Garcia: 114-114
    Kell Brook: 115-114 Thurman

If You Call HAVING EYES "Distorting History", So Be It...

Brook Won the Fight 9-3, 8-4 WORST Case Scenario...For Months, All REED Heard was How BAD of a Decision it Was....Finally, Prior to Brook-Spence, REED Got Around to Actually WATCHING the Fight Himself...Only Porter FANS or Those Not Terribly Fond of Brook Could Make ANY Case for Even a Draw, Nevermind Porter WINNING...

Who CARES What the Media Thinks???...You DO Realize They Can Be Just as BIASED as Anyone Else, Right???...

If You're Around Looooooooooooong Enough, Media Members Develop RELATIONSHIPS w/Promoters, Fighters, etc...So Just Because a Particular Member of the Media CLAIMS he Saw a Fight a Particular Way, Doesn't Mean he TRULY Felt That Way...Especially if he's COOL w/the Promoter/Fighter on the Ass End of the Verdict...

Any Time You Want to Do a Round by Round on Brook-Porter, REED's Game...And You'll End Up ADMITTING You (& the Precious Media You're Clinging To) were WRONG...

There's NOfuckingARGUMENT for Thurman Beating Porter ANYWHERE NEAR as Decisively as Brook Did...NONE...

    "Brook Fans":D:D:D...

How did YOU Score the Fight, Dude???...

REED's Already Explained WHY You Can't Trust Media Scorecards w/Any Discernable Degree of Accuracy, Yet You Repeatedly RELY On it in Boxing Debates...

REED's Willing to SCORE The Fight Himself, While YOU Do Likewise, and COMPARE Notes on Each Round...That Cuts Thru the Bullshit QUICKER Than Anything Else...And it's Part of What Makes Fightbeat FIGHTBEAT...

You're not the absolute reference when it comes to judging a fight. The fact that you dismiss all these scorecards and still cling to your initial belief only shows why it's useless to argue with you

Man, I'm not willing to rewatch that boring fight again. From my recollection, I had Porter winning, but even if I rewatched it and arrived to the conclusion that Brook won it easily, it wouldn't change the fact that according to most, it was a close contentious fight.

You see, contrarly to you, I'm not so narcissistic that I think that my opinion is the only valid one

I think it speaks volumes that Porter himself never mentioned even WANTING a rematch with Brook. If it was truly as close as YOU believe, wouldn't Shawn be anxious to do it again?

Dude, YOU'RE the 1 Acting as if Media Scorecards Are an Absolute Ruling...

REED's Been BLESSED Enough to Cover More Than his Fair Share of Fights Since the Early 00's and KNOWS All Tooooo Well What a Writer THINKS Ain't Always the Same as What He'll OWN In Print or On Camera...So Just Because Showtime Posts a Writer's Name ON-AIR, Scoring a Fight a Particular Way, it's NOT a Guarantee Said Writer REALLY Feels That Way...

Dude Could Be Trying to Stay in the Good Graces of the Promotion OR he Could Be Cool w/the Fighter Himself and NOT Want his Name Associated w/Saying his Boy LOST a Close Fight...Fighters are SENSITIVE As Hell and Such a Thing has ENDED Boxer-Writer Relationships for Decades...

Shawn Porter's a GOOD Dude...Friendly as Hell, Accommodating as Fuck...He's EXACTLY The Type of Guy a Writer Would Give EVERY Benefit of the Doubt To, Especially in a Fight w/a Lispy Motherfucker Like Brook, Coming from Prince Naseem's Neck of the British Woods...

Yet You PRESENT and DEBATE Your Opinions Every Bit as NARCISSISTICALLY as You Say REED Does, Thinking YOURS is the Only One Carrying Validity...

The opinion I present and defend isn't my own. It's an aggregate of opinions, which means it is pretty much a fact

Now we are getting into assumptions. I'm not saying that this never happens, but I would expect that it is the exception rather than the norm.

And it's a much too convenient argument to use to dismiss the opinions of those you disagree with

Uuuuuuh, Noooooo; They're Still OPINIONS Bruh...

If 15-20 People Sitting Ringside, LITERALLY Watching the Fight from 1 Angle, Agree on the Outcome of a Fight, HOW Does That Render the Aggregate Opinion of Those Watching on Television, w/the Benefit of Varying Angles, Instant Replay, DVR Capabilities, etc., Any LESS Factual???...

Sounds Like YOU'RE Fanyboying, Lending MORE Credence to Who's Writing/Scoring for the More Well Known Media Outlet, vs. Trusting YOUR OWN Eyes...Which is Why REED Suggested a Round by Round Debate...

Again, it ELIMINATES Any and All Bullshit...

I'm not saying that the opinion of the writers is more valid than the one of the tv viewers, only that an aggregate of opinion is more of a ''fact'' than a singular one.

There was nothing close about Brook vs Porter. I can't believe this is being brought up. I don't care what te scorecards say. Brook schooled Porter convincingly.

    Much moreso than Keith Thurman.

Another man-child who haven't surpass yet the phases of intellectual and emotional egocentrism (Piaget notorious symbolic function stage) and who don't know shit about boxing to boot (as proven by the media scorecards)

Seems like fightbeat is a haven for them

Brook "schooled" Porter as long as you ignore the fact that he held more than wald pussy ... that's about as unimpressive a schooling as I've seen

brook has been in fights with more dangerous opponents than porter where it didnt deteriorate into that type of shitty grapple fest which occurs in 75% of porters fights

So? What does that prove? It is not to do with how dangerous he is. It os his aggression, the volume of punches he throws, and the close distance he fights at. Brook refused to fight inside. Instead, he held. Unfortunately, ref did not do his job and allowed Brook to restart action rather than fight inside.

Can't take Double seriously on the topic of Porter. He thinks that talentless grappling hack is Joe Frazier.

Spence will break him down and will completely out class garcia, probably a late 10th round stoppage.
