Just a couple days ago the WBC were making David Benavidez a mandatory fighter for Canelo to face but that’s been brushed aside so quickly. Not sure what happened there.

A prime Gvozdyk would've beaten David pretty handedly IMO.

Might be Canelo vs Munguia. That's the only way PBC will give Canelo his desired purse. PBC doesn't want Canelo vs Jermall, and neither do ANY boxing fans.

Canelo vs Munguia is probably the safer bet for Canelo’s team. Easy fight and money and it’ll still generate some interest.

Munguia might not win, but he'll be a lot more competitive than Jermall would be.

Jermall would 100% only be showing up for the check. Just like his brother.

    Munguia will try to win.

Well, I think Munguia will try to win. Canelo is his idol, and that could be problematic. He might just be happy to be there.

The Problem for Canelo is Benavidez has Gotten BETTER...He's Matured, More Focused, Shows Up Better Conditioned, etc., Nowadays...If Canelo Fought Benavidez Instead of Bivol (for Instance), Canelo WINS...Canelo's Regressed Since Then Though, and Benavidez Has IMPROVED...

Like Spence in the Case of Crawford, Canelo Waited toooooooooooo LATE...Should've Fought Him MUCH Soooooner...

I think it's close, personally, he's definitely the toughest challenge for Canelo under 175, not disputing that, but I haven't been blown away by Benavidez. Maybe I'm just not seeing it and it will become clear if they actually fight, which like everyone is saying probably won't happen since Canelo is being such a massive vag.

Alvarez will be the betting favorite vs benavidez if it does happen. You confident blokes should turn a nice profit

    I think it's a near 50/50, and that's exactly why Canelo doesn't want it.
