Deadpool 3 is currently filming and on paper it looks like this will be the crowd pleaser fans were begging for. Not only it brings back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but Jackman will be wearing the yellow & black suit from the comicbooks which hints that apparently Deadpool somehow has traveled to the Multiverse and he finally meets the original X-Men team. Rumors state that many of the actors from the first X-Men films will have guest cameo roles and likewise will be seen in costumes similar to the original comicbook ones! Ben Affleck as Daredevil, James Marsden as Cyclops, Famke Janssen as Jean Grey and Halle Berry as Storm are expected to appear in the film. Just yesterday location filming footage & photos were leaked were we see Hugh Jackman wearing the iconic yellow suit. Deadpool 3 will be released on May 22, 2024.
Word on the street is that due to the writer’s strike, Ryan Reynolds won’t be allowed to add lib or improvise his lines and apparently that is what created some of the best one liners and funniest moments in the previous DP films.
Yeah and sadly because of the SAG strike filming has been halted. I don't get this. Aren't scripts which are already completed not supposed to interfere with filming? I understand movies & tv episodes whose scripts aren't yet finalize can be paralyzed by the SAG strike, but if a script is completed why halt production? Is that a clause from the unions?
The first two were fairly forgettable IMO, adding a few cameos from the other franchise, esp an old Jackman, doesn't sound promising
Maybe to you they were forgettable. Fans loved those 2 films and they made a lot of money too. Just check the geeks orgasmic reactions to Hugh Jackman in the promo announcement video.
