Brianna Hildebrand, who plays emo Teenage Negasonic Warhead, is actually a very cute girl when she dresses girly.

 

liked deadpool more than guardians of the galaxy. both of the movies, along with ant-man, seem to constitute an "ironic" turn in the marvel movies, but deadpool's the best of the three imo. some properly funny moments (the unicorn toy scene, the fight with colossus), and it's got a heart. the villain and the final showdown weren't that great, but everything else was solid. pitch-perfect performance from Reynolds.

only just caught GOTG recently. with the 91% fresh rating on rottentomatoes I was expecting a great marvel movie up there with iron man and avengers, but it was brought down by bad plotting throughout. too many characters in too many plot turns for you to care much about any of them.

 

I like GOTG better than Deadpool. Watched it a few times. 'Deadpool' is a low budget movie, but did marvels with the limited cash it had. Yeah, Reynolds was great.

 

I'm with Rooster. I liked Deadpool better then Guardians of the Galaxy. Not really a big fan of the other traditional superhero movies he mentioned though.

 

Will you watch 'Doctor Strange'? Not a typical superhero as it is closer to Harry Potter than Iron-Man.

 

marvel's got a lot of loyalty from me, i'll keep on watching pretty much anything they turn out (except for thor movies, maybe...). remains to be seen how the counterpart "dc cinematic universe" does.

 

the effects and overall production in Guardians were excellent. but the plot's the most important thing in pretty much any movie, and the pacing was off, a bit like the last Nolan batman movie.

 

Guardians Of The Galaxy shits over Deadpool from a great, great height and then laughs.

Better characters, better acting, better effects, better story, better humor, better music.
Chris Pratt is much better as Peter Quill/Star-Lord than Ryan 'I-So-Wanted-To-Be-Deadpool-I-Moved-Heaven-And-Earth-To-Make-It-Happen-And-Now-Im-Stuck-With-It' Reynolds
Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper are much better (and unseen) as Groot and Rocky-Racoon as the two cheap X-Men freaks.

In fact I could go on and on but I won't because it's obvious GOTG takes this 'Mythical Matchup'
