I'd wager with you that he won't. My only concern would be that he could get caught in the early rounds, since he's a slow starter, but if he doesn't , he gives GGG a hell of a fight

Golov's a better fighter than Jack, but on size alone I'd give Jack a very good shot at pulling the upset. A much better chance than Canelo would have.

jack has improved but he would take a massive beating from golovkin. and its still not a money fight for golovkin to move up and fight a much bigger guy who cant even make 168 anymore

i like how showtime is pushing for a rematch. jack gets flat out robbed, and they want him to kill himself to stick around the weight for a rematch against this guy. and the dullard from canadia even mentioned having the fight in england

Genuinely don't see this flat out robbery people are talking about. Jack busted him up and won most of his rounds big, but allowed himself to be out worked in plenty as well. It was close in rounds. No way DeGale won but a draw or close Jack win seemed reasonable.

If it wasn't for the last round, I would have agreed with you, but that round should have been a 10-7

Couldn't see a 10-7, DeGale was punching back by the end of the round and even stunned Jack a little. Either way, judges rarely give a 10-7 with only one knockdown.

he was landing the cleaner punches, particularly to the body, enough to win the rounds that must have went to degale

shocking but degale isnt at the post fight press conference. jack sent him to the hospital. thats typically what happens when you get beat down

nah. Jack is a slow starter and don't have a great chin. Adonis is a terrible matchup for him, as he would jump straight at him and probably land a bomb. Though, Adonis is nearing 40. He can become shot any minute.

degale showed a lot of heart but he did not deserve a draw.

Gotta say though, that was one hell of a card. Best I've watched in a while.

I had it for Jack. Better defense, more solid shots got through, hurt DeGale more often. Was a flash knockdown when he went over but his shot to deck DeGale really hurt Chunky. DeGale showed great heart though at the end of the 12th.

Stevenson is what? 60 now? I honestly forget he's still around.

I'd give Jack a very good chance of beating him.

Kov? Now that's a different story. Kov would fuck Jack up.

Great fight. Had it for Jack with the strong closing in the championship rounds but it was close. Would watch a rematch.

Davis looked impressive against Pedraza, although Pedraza was never that good.

I'm still not a believer in Davis. I still think he's an accident waiting to happen.

BTW - Showtime is so fuckin gay. When Floyd said "Abso-fuckin-lutely" in the interview with Jim Gray, Gray's like "Great, I'm sure parents at home will love that..."

Jim, this is a premium cable network and it's 11 at night.... there's nobody tuning in who gives a shit if they hear the F-word. And if they do have their kids watching BOXING at 11 pm on a Sat night on a premium cable channel.... they shouldn't really be appalled any an curses they may hear.... ESPECIALLY in fighter interviews.

Why is Showtime so faggoty and censored when it comes to cussin?

On HBO, they don't give a shit if fighters curse in the post-fight interview. Why? Hmmmm.... probably cause they realize that it's a premium fuckin cable network after hours and cussing is totally permitted!

    Gay ass Showtime.

The Showtime Poll asking who won the fight ended up 51% for Jack and 49% DeGale.
