It also wont change shit because the boxing crowd will spin it and come up with 1000 excuses for the loss. And so called fans will fall for it.

    Awww...

Anthony Found a Cute Widdle Stat He Thinks Paints MMA in a More Favorable Light...

Dude, All You're Saying is There's MORE MMA PPV's in a Calendar Year...Fact is, the TOP 2, 3, 4 Boxing PPV's in History Drew MORE than the TOP 2, 3, 4 MMA PPV's Did...

Damn Sure DOESN'T Mean MMA is Viewed More Favorably...Nice Try Though...

The Excuses for McGregor are ALREADY Piling Up...

    LOL!

Actually, and this is being honest, I'll be more hurt for the sport than I would be for Floyd. That's the real issue for me.

That gif did apply to me for the Roy Tarver 2 fight though, I will admit.

    I can relate.

I remember a quote from Apollo Creed which sums up how I felt at the time

"I hurt all over, and I didn't wanna know from nothin' or nobody, not even my kids"

I personally won't be able to conjure up any exuses for the tax evader if he loses this fight.

An all time great has no business losing to any fighter making their pro debut.

Those aren't excuses. Those are facts. Conor should not be in a boxing ring with Floyd. Or any pro boxer. Many in mma don't think Conor will win. The casuals on both sides are what is buying this.

Mayweather is a BOXER, So Yes, "Boxing" is the Star, Which Also Explains Why the Highest Seller of MMA Pay-Per-Views is Crossing Over to BOXING, to Garner the Highest Combative Sports Payday he'll EVER See...

    Ah, Okay...

It's a "Fact" when an MMA Guy Clings to it, but an "Excuse" When a Boxing Guy Clings to It...

    Got It...

And it will be the highest mayweather has ever seen. But again, no other boxer can generate these numbers. MMA is pulling in big numbers 5-7 times yearly. Other than canelo, no one else can bring in big numbers after Floyd. People in the us clearly favor mma over boxing right now. It can change of course. Boxing needs more stars

Yeah those aren't excuses. If you said something like conor was sick or Floyd cheated or the judges were biased, etc. those are excuses. Saying Conor should not have been in there is not an excuse. It's an admission that Floyd a better boxer.

We'll See if that's the Case...

4.6mil is a SHIT LOAD of PPV's (Over 3mil MORE than the Highest Grossing MMA PPV that Same Year)...And Even if that Number is Surpassed, it's Still a BOXING PPV, Like it or Not...

"Other Than" Conor, Who's this Mysterious "Big Number" MMA Draw???...Ronda Rousey's FINISHED, and Until UFC 214 (an Absolutely STACKED Card w/3 Title Fights), No MMA PPV Broke the 300,000 Mark in 2017...

To Be Clear, WHITE PEOPLE in the U.S. Clearly Favor MMA...By that Same Token, LATINOS in the U.S. Clearly Favor Boxing...BLACKS Are BARELY a Factor in this Equation, as We're Not Terribly Supportive of Fighters in Either Boxing or MMA...

Point Being, There's NATHAN Clear About Any Presumptions of Consumer Favoritism Towards EITHER Sport...

There were no big fights in 2014 yet. But you have GSP returning. Brock vs bones in the works, and Velasquez potentially returning to fight stipic. But that is my point. MMA is the star. It doesn't need huge stars because it puts in quality shows, stacking title fights. You have the best fight in the best. Boxing needs the stars. Because the wont stack like they use too.

It's an excuse if that is the reason he was battered and run off. Paulie ain't shot enough that an 0-0 boxer could do THAT. No excuse for it. Especially with all the shit Paulie spoke.

GSP's Been "Returning" for the Last YEAR Now...

And What Happens if he Flames Out MISERABLY in his Comeback Fight???...Dude Hasn't Fought in What, 5 YEARS???...No Guarantee he's Going to Just REASSUME his Position as a Dominant Mixed Martial Artist (Especially @ a HIGHER Weight)...

Cain's NEVER Been a "Star" Dude...Hell, Stipe's Knocking EVERYBODY Out, and Still ISN'T a "Star" Either...Unquestionably, Brock vs. Bones Would Be EPIC, but Brock Would Have to SIT for 6 Months 1st...

Boxing Stars are BREWING and You've Probably NOT Been Paying Attention, Because we've Gotten Quite a Few COMPELLING Matchups This Year (On Paper or Otherwise)...Thurman-Garcia, Joshua-Klitschko, Spence-Thurman, Broner-Garcia, Ward-Kovalev II...

And we've Got Canelo-Triple G on the Horizon, Along w/1 More Joshua Bout...

A Star WILL Emerge @ Welter, in 2018...By Then, Someone in the Lomachenko/Garcia/Crawford Triumvirate Will Emerge as a Star Too...And Joshua's on the Precipice of Being THE Biggest Name in All of Boxing...

Again, MMA is the star. They stack and give the audience their money's worth. Boxing ppv are 4 hours with about 2 hours of fighting. And the arena isn't full until the last fight.

MMA PPV Sales DON'T Reflect This, Period...

EVERY Top Selling MMA PPV was Built Around a Clear and Present STAR Performer, Not the Sport of MMA Itself...

Not true. And you have said as much in this thread. Ufc stacks their cards. UFC 100 and 200 were both stacked. So was 214. So are many UFC events.

REED "Said as Much" in a DIFFERENT Context, Which You KNOW Already, Even as You're Juxtaposing Goal Posts...Par for the Course w/"Debating" You, However...

UFC 100 and 200 were Stacked w/STARs, Dude...Do you REALLY Think REED Doesn't Know This Already???...Do You RECOGNIZE there's a Difference btwn "Stacked" and "Stacked w/STARS"???...

w/Out Question, UFC has "Stacked" their Cards Less and Less, as Time has Gone On...The End of Year Show and the BIG Summer Show are the Outliers, along w/UFC 100 and 200...And STAR Fighters are Always On those Cards...But What about the OTHER Shows Which Leads to "More People Paying for MMA Annually, than Boxing", as You Claim???...

The SAME Shit You Criticized Boxing for has Slooooooooooowly, yet SURELY Permeated MMA...Just as REED Told You and TFK It Would, Several YEARS Ago...

Beyond the Outliers, UFC PPV's are About STARS...On that Note, Of the Top 5 MMA PPV's, McGregor's Responsible for 3 of them...And he was SUPPOSED to Be Featured @ UFC 2000...

And Brock Lesnar was a Part of BOTH UFC 100 and 200...
