Duran gives his punk ass a Palomino-like beating.

Margarito is too easy to hit and too slow but he lasts the distance

 

I don't think so, only because while he had a rock hard chin, his body was vulnerable. Mosley crippled him to the body and so did Pac.

Duran's punishing body attack would take it's toll.

 

I reckon margarito would probably go the distance but he'd have a dark night of the soul

 

Duran wins easily, 8-4

 

Duran via late stoppage. Ref will step in and save Margarito from further punishment by around 11th. He's just too hittable and SLOW for Duran and while he has a size advantage, I can actually see him getting pushed back all night long, and we all know Margarito is just not effective going backwards.

 

Marg's best case scenario is a repeat of the Palomino fight

 

Marg goes the distance only if the official or physician don't decide his face is too fucked up to continue

 

If this fight was held in Mexico it would turn out even worse for Margarito. They'd let him continue even if he had an eyeball dangling out so far that it got wrapped around his ear.

 

Marg only chance is if duran is in a very bad day. On every other occassions, duran gives him a spanking. Probably last the distance though. Iirc, marg never had problems with facial damage until the mosley/pac fights

 

He also never got punched in the face 9000 times per round by anybody who punched like either of them until then
