it'll be similar to Kovalev vs Ward...close competitive fight with a semi controversial decision going to the supposed smaller fighter.

Jacobs made it happen. Danny Jacobs, that is, not Jimmy Jacobs.

As for the fight itself.......I wanna see the venue, the weights, the stipulations.

Triple G was Never Going to Acquiesce to a Catchweight w/Canelo, Which is What Delayed the Fight from Happening...They'll Meet @ 160, Undoubtedly...

Like They ALWAYS Do, the Promoters are Using Dallas Cowboys Stadium to Drive Up the Site Fees in Vegas, Which is Where This Bout Will Take Place...Only REAL Question is the Venue; MGM Grand or T-Mobile Arena (Where they Fought Last Night)...

REED Bets Triple G "Settled" for that Flat Rate of 15 Mil Also...

DLH was talking shit saying that the fight with Canelo was not as big and less likely to happen given GGG's underwhelming performance against Jacobs. It's just as big but with a bit more added intrigue as GGG looked less like the wrecking machine we're used to seeing.

Funny, Because he was On ESPN's "SportsCenter" Last Night, Where he Predicted Canelo - Triple G to Be "Bigger than Mayweather - Pacquiao", Which it WON'T...

The FACT of the Matter Is, Canelo Speaks ZERO English and Triple G's is VERY Broken...ESPN Interviewed Golovkin Last Night and it was PAINFUL...Point Being, There Won't Be a Shit Talking, Headline Grabbing Press Tour, Nor Will There Be American Talk Show Appearances to Help BUILD the Fight...

That Being Said, for HARDCORE Boxing Fans, This Will for Certain Be THE Biggest Fight of the Year...Hopefully the Undercard is Good (The Chocolatito - Runvisai RE Would Be a Nice Addition), but even if it Sucks, REED Would Order the PPV...

This is a bout two years too late. just like Floyd and Pacquiao fight was like 5 years too late. GGG is older and now is showing signs of not being the 160 lbs terror he was before. I still think he can beat Canelo, but unlike 2 years ago, now Canelo do have a chance to pull an upset.

It's rather the opposite. Two years ago, the fight wouldn't have been as interesting since Canelo wasn't yet acclimated to the MW division, so it probably would have been a lot less competitive.

For me, this fight is HUGE! Biggest fight in quite some time. Very meaningful. Career defining for both fighters. GGG should be the favourite but Canelo is very live and I actually pick Canelo to win a close decision because I can't see GGG dominating him or stopping him.

Will be interesting to see if Canelo can trade punches with GGG without getting deterred or if he can put a dent in Triple G.

I can't see Canelo hurting GGG but I think his punches are hard enough to keep him honest.

I'll be stunned if Canelo aims to put it on GGG from the get-go. I don't think he can afford to as he hasn't got the greatest of engines.

Canelo has always been a natural 165lbs who fought at 154lbs because he just can make that weight with no problem. He didn't vacated the middleweight title because he couldn't make the weight; it was because he was mandated to defend against GGG who plainly refused to go down in weight to give Canelo advantage.
