    If by 90s fighters we define them as guys who peaked in the 90s, then I can't include Jackson because Jackson's peak was the late 80s, like 87-89. My favorite true 90s fighters:

    ....I thought Danny Romero was a good fighter..... I thought Romero Vs Tapia was a huge fight, meaningful, historical. Looking back it was just a massive local bout.

    Always surprised me how some could love that slapping coward. Was a moderate fan at the beggining, but his shameless ducking had me always rooting against him

    Cross town rivals. It was as meaningful historically as perhaps Dela Hoya vs Genaro Hernandez. Both from east LA ect.

    I was the opposite. I went from a hater to a fan. I liked the way he took over fights. Kessler-Calzaghe, RJJ-Calzaghe & Hopkins-Calzaghe. The first halves of those fights were competitive. The second halves, not so much. They couldn't do shit to Calzaghe down the stretch.

    There was a good 5+ year stretch between beating an aging Eubanks for his wbogus belt and facing another live body

    That doesn't mean he was ducking anyone. He had repeated injuries and was making good money for Warren so he was badly promoted.

    Neil picks a hypothetical of Jones shelling up against the GOAT of 94-04 as proof that Calzaghe was ducking.
