Hamed is a fan. He attended all of Bruno's and Benn's fights back in the 90's. He also supported Calzaghe against Eubank (though that was probably more out of hatred of Eubank). He also attended Eubank fights before he turned pro, as Eubank points out here when he COMPLETELY owns Naz :

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/0mJ6t3zeuP4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Since retiring, Naz has been seen attending Khan and Froch fights, as well as attending amateur shows in Sheffield. He's also given interviews where he's praised Floyd to the heavens, and he called Tarver after the second Jones Jr fight to congratulate him (the fight wasn't even shown in the UK).

I think I've heard that before about Spinks not really liking boxing at all, though I had no idea he quit to work in a factory after winning a medal

Floyd was at ringside of Morales-Pacman 2 rooting for Manny. I'm surprised that nobody from Manny's team has ever brought that up.

Yeah, he didn't fancy none of El Terrible himself, so hoped Manny would do the business for him :bears:

    best quote from this page:

"Floyd is second to only Zab Judah in potential IMO and he's only been a
champion less than a year now and has already beaten two very good
boxers(Genaro Hernandez/Angel Manfredy) in fairly easy fashion."

Ex-WBO featherweight champion Steven Luevano- definitely not a boxing fan. The commentators in his last fight were surprised at how disconnected he seemed from the sport.

Honestly, these days, there are parts of Hartford as bad or worse than any spot in Detroit... It's the second poorest city in the country... 30% of the population lives below the poverty line... violent crime is rampant

All of Connecticut's cities are dangerous and impoverished, including mine... the image outsiders have of CT is the image of Western Fairfield County and The Litchfield Hills, where everybody is wealthy and lives like the Kennedys or The Great Gatsby... But the gap between rich and poor here, measured by income, is the second largest of any state in the country... Waterbury is a universe away from Darien or Cos Cob

With 30 percent of the population living below the poverty line, Hartford's rate of poverty is second in the United States only to Brownsville, Texas.[SUP][26]
    [/SUP]
The median income for a household in the city was $20,820, and the median income for a family was $22,051. Males had a median income of $28,444 versus $26,131 for females. The per capita income for the city was $13,428.

I have no idea what the numbers in your article are based on... They must be including industries or they are referring to some sort of Hartford "Metro Region" ... The city of Hartford is an impoverished, dangerous place
