Half the reason this fight is so big is the utter crap matchups we've grown accustomed to. Compared to that, this fight is indeed big.

Floyd doesn't have Tyson's devastating power or the interest in him personally that the public has for Tyson. Manny doesn't speak English well but is beloved all around the world.

From a pure technical stand point, these two are the best fighters in the world. Yes the fight should have happened 5 years ago, but this fight is still pretty massive. Everyone and their brother thinks the winner will make history, and be the best of his era. That's pretty fucking significant.
