It's on YouTube, with a Japanese title. I'll find it for you sometime today.

Sorry man, been crazy busy with work.

Haven't watched much boxing in the last week, been more focused on the World Cup.

I'll look for it tomorrow! I'm sure I can find it.

Just rewatched Fulton vs Figueroa. Grueling scrap and great fight. Although I do think Figs should have gotten the decision it was still a close battle and Fulton deserves respect for staying in the pocket and fighting him toe to toe Philly style.

I rewatched Casamayor vs Jon Kwon Baek this morning. Random fight, I know. I hadn't watched it since I recorded it on VHS on Fox Sports 23 years ago. Casa was sharp in that fight.

Just watched a fight card over here in Japan that featured Takuma Inoue, Naoya’s brother.

The undercard featured a couple unknowns who put on a pretty exciting fight featuring little to no defense that lasted 3 rds.

The follow up bout was a 6 rounder featuring the debut of Tenshin Nasukawa. You probably don’t remember that name but it’s the kickboxer Floyd Mayweather knocked out in 1 round in Japan a few years ago in one of his first exhibition fights. Tenshin has switched to full time boxer and to be honest he looked very good outboxing a certified bum. He moves well and still has the same amazing reflexes and speed he had as a kick boxer. Unfortunately he also still has the same feather fisted punching power too. I also wonder how his durability will hold up if and when he faces a world class boxer.

In the co-main event Takuma Inoue fought some 41 year old guy for the bantam weight title his brother Naoya vacated. I only saw rds 1-3 and 11-12 as I had to take my dogs for a walk. From what I saw it was a sloppy affair and Inoue didn’t exactly impress here. He kept setting nice traps for his opponent but would somehow consistently miss wide open counter shots. He also bizarrely missed shots in the middle of the ring. Obviously he won by a comfortable margin being in Japan and being an Inoue, at the same time I didn’t see enough to say if it was complete home cooking here so, whatever. I certainly don’t plan to watch the rest as like I said it was a pretty sloppy ugly affair.

In the main event wba/wbc light flyweight champion Kenshiro Teraji fought Anthony Olascuaga in what has to be a contender for fight of the year. Great back and fourth affair here where a typical tough as nails Mexican goes against the indomitable will of a Japanese champion. Everytime you think one of them is about to go, they pull of a rally again and again. Great fight.

The card was on Japan Amazon Prime. They have a replay available so maybe if you have a VPN you might be able to watch it.

I watch Zarate-Zamora at least a few times per year. Zarate ate Zamora up with some wicked short punching.

Joet Gonzalez in his third (and maybe final) title shot fought well and was fucked by the judges who had their scorecards filled out in advance. I had him winning or at worst losing 7-5 but the scores were wide vs Venado Lopez.

    Spinks-Cooney...

Referenced on the Tyson-Spinks Anniversary Thread...Cooney Had Obviously LOST Some Luster/Confidence vs Holmes, But He Was BACK to His KO Ways Somewhat, Heading into the Spinks Bout...The WAY Spinks Beat Cooney was Totally Unexpected & ARGUABLY Spinks' Finest Performance, from an OFFENSIVE Perspective...

Spinks SUBTLE Knock Kneed MOVEMENT, HAND SPEED, ACCURACY and Punch VARIETY Ate Cooney Thefuck Up...

Haven't Watched Gomez in Years, Excluding the Sanchez Massacre...

REED's Seen Other Fightbeater's Point it Out and it's TRUE; Naoya Inoue Fights a LOT Like Super Bantam Wilfredo Gomez...Their BOUNCE, Calculated AGGRESSION, FLURRIES, Body CHEMISTRY and Destructive POWER for Men Their Size are Quite a Bit Similar....

Gomez Definitely Put it ON Holmes; Was Obviously Put Off by Holmes' Amateur Victory Over Him & Didn't Hesitate to RUB it in Holmes Face as He Kicked His Ass...Holmes was Effectively DONE by the 3rd Round...The Ref and Holmes Corner Did a PISS POOR Job, Allowing it to Continue...Dude Clearly DIDN'T Want to Be There Anymore and His Corner Should've SPARED him from a PUBLIC Shaming as Such, in Front of His Fiancee' No Less...

REED Lost Count After the 5th Time Holmes Found Himself on the Canvas, Staring Off into Nowhere in Particular, As Gomez KEPT Talking Shit, Motioning for Him to Get Up:Jest:...

Wonder if Holmes is/was Related to Keith Holmes???...Similar Style/Bodytypes and Per the Video, Derrik Holmes was from New Carrollton, MD...Keith was from DC...

Yeah, Inoue has a lot of Gomez in him for sure.

Holmes was a revenge match for Gomez, as Holmes had beaten him in the amateurs. Hence the pleasure Gomez got in the torturing the poor guy.
